Nervous, Meeting an FFXI player in real life

I have some awesome friends because I met with some old-LS members in real life.

I felt that there was really no awkwardness when we met. Me & Karihkinz are like the best of friends now, same with me & Miros. It was a ton of fun. I wish you luck, Flymop.

I hope you have a good book to read on that long trip. ; -;

lol. True story. I met Pannda and Kenohkii, and Pann's brother Massator at a hockey game and had a blast. Had about a couple minutes of awkwardness, but after that was over, we got along like we all knew each other for years. We were a little bummed that Maxmanly couldn't make the trip out, but there will be a next time. I think it took us all of about a half hour before we began talking FFXI for the remainder of the night lol. There is a ton of people on here I feel I'd get along with really well.
 
Is pannda the crazy lady you see jumping into the penalty box attacking a player on all the sports blooper reels?

BTW i bet while you were gone you still didn't get any invites.
 
Actually I think the night that you all went to the hockey game, Max was hanging out with me that day since I was in town from school for the weekend. But hey, maybe next time the both of us can come along.

Yep. Team Fortress Classic to be exact. He was a medic and I was a hw. Can't say that it was love at first "sight" because that'd be awfully strange, wouldn't it? :oops: By the time he met me, I was an openly female gamer because I was sick of hearing guys say that "girls don't play this game" and etc. So, not as strange as it sounds. Everybody on that server knew I was a girl. As my hubby puts it, how could he have not fallen in love with a witty, smart girl who also happens to be a vicious killer? :lol:

And no, wasn't love at first headshot...more like love at first mirv! :D

Can be any game. Like I've said, it's not the appearance on the outside that matters in those kind of settings--it's the person themselves that you can meet.

Well i say good job, that must be one of hardest games to meet someone on who your gonna spend the rest of your life with :wink:
