yeah , I was tired and typos, i meant 3:40 and typed 4:30

now I have some sleep a clear head and still cant get through at 5 to 9AM EST
 
Read about 3 pages of bitching and kinda skipped the rest. Annnnyway, my friend bought this for pc, wasnt able to register. So he asked me to try it for him (I have ffxi for 360, ps2, and laptop >.>). So I hoped on my ps2, got the registration code, and put it in. Took me 5 min and he was set.

So, find a friend with a ps2, give him your code if you trust him (dunno what good a code would be to steal) and bam, your in.

Tried 4am, 6am, 8am, 10am, and just now. Still no tango. I've tried multiple platform as well, so don't believe those rumors. Its just a crap server. Important thing is, don't keep spamming retry. If you fail, get out and try again later to keep the server able to process.
 
It's just unfathomable that a large company such as Squre-Enix can be so thoughtless in their planning. If their registration servers can't handle a majority of their 500,000+ users that have bought the expansion, they need to find an alternative means to the problem instead of just giving us server maintenances that don't solve anything.

Exactly. They have to be fucking idiots to not realise that this weekend the majority of the players will be wanting to register the new expansion. SE have to be the most inept company i've ever come across.
 
If you think about it, they really are. Their service spans the entire fucking globe, and they planned on relying on just THEIR servers to handle the world? How short-sighted. It's a cock slap to the face to PC users that had to go out on BLACK FRIDAY and stand in lines to get their expansion just because of a printing error that was most likely hardly noticeable anyway. Now this shit? Good going, SE. Good going.

I managed to register fine, I got my copy delivered on Thursday and that was a day late. However the fact Chii can't get it registered is really pissing me off, i'm half tempted to quit.
 
... What's this red screen mean? I was like "It's doing something!" and then that happened... and the error came back.
