This came up in the "PS3 or Wii" thread. It looks like a pretty solid deal. If I were planning to pick up a PS3 this year, that's the bundle I'd hold out for.
 
I will buy that Ps3 just to have the box...

Seeing this almost makes me wish I didn't have a PS3, just so I could buy this.
 
the PS3 doesn't look any different or anything XD just the box. And I can get the controller and game fine without sooo ya.

Sweet deal, I think I might just hold off on getting a PS3 until this comes out, been wanting a 80 gig. Now atleast I can focus on getting a good HD tv first.
 
I wonder what they mean by 'select ps2 games' or is that just their cop out way of saying its 90% and thats as good as you'll get -- which I'd be okay with.

Any idea of when this will be out?
 
From what little experiance I had working at Toys R Us in the R Zone, it'll probably be released the same day the game comes out.

I'm assuming this. Isn't that how it worked with Halo 3 and their Xbox 360?
 
I dont even play MGS and that box is leet
 
It would be silly to sell it at any other time than with the game, because so many people are buying a PS3 for just this game, its really good, if only for the fact that the game is free.

The down side is that you wouldn't be able to get in to the multiplayer beta for MGS.

Na. The Halo Edition X360 came out a short while before Halo 3 was out. IN other words. The Halo 3 edition 360 does not come with Halo 3. Not even a stupid coupon for it.

As for the the box. I want it too and I'm not even a Metal Gear head. It's much better than my 40 gig box with the silly Spiderman 3 Blu-Ray. Here comes a large sales spike.

I like how in the graphics you can see Snakes reflection on the PS3. Or does the PS3 actually have the image of Snake on it for real ? Probably not.
