while not on the scale of Family Guy or Futurama.. it was still very gunny and id suggest yall might wanna take a look a at it

It's not new they have aired it before. There aren't many episodes of it.

They previewed the first 6 episodes about 8 months ago then picked up about 20-30 episodes to make a "season." The actual season started about 2 weeks ago, it's hilarious. I like it better than family guy and futurama just because I've seen all those episodes already, while shin-chan is still fresh.

Oh, and the man song owns.

Yeah I watched my first episode of it last night and I gotta say, it is somethin I'd go out of my way to watch. Not nearly as funny as Family Guy or South Park granted, but it is a good show. I can't stand the little brat's voice though, seriously, it's absolutely terrible, sounds like a girl trying to do a guys voice. One good thing about it though is [as] puts it in the anime block! So my comedy won't suffer a hit plus that's one less anime I have to avoid.

I love the fact that whenever money troubles come up, the mom makes a comment about her "new boob" fund going out the window.

Some of it is pretty funny, some of it is more crude than funny, and therefore less funny. All in all it's pretty solid.

If by 'ganked' you mean ruined I have to disagree.

If they changed the dialogue I don't really care, this crap is funny and a lot of Japanese humor comes off as corny

Yeah, it's been going for over 10 years in Japan, I think.

I tried so hard not to like this show, and failed miserably.

Yeah, Shin Chan has been aired before. If you really want to catch, it's also shown on Adultswim.com on their fix section, you can catch episodes 9-10 right now, and they should update every Friday. Me and my friend love the ending theme song.

So people complained that the dubbing doesn't match up with the original Japanese jokes, but I'm glad they made current pop culture references, it fits really well with the style I believe.

Favorite short IMO is the happiness bunny episode where he gets revenge on the 2 women always beating the shit out of him, there should be a youtube video floating around of it.

Shin-chan is great. I've been a fan of it for a long time now and have a lot of the Japanese episodes on old-ass VHS tapes (yes, VHS tapes, lol). I was really surprised to hear it was gonna be aired in the states, but they are doing a pretty good job with it so I approve.

I think I gotta take back my first statement regarding the voice-over(yayAmerican version). After watching a few more episodes it's grown on me, it fits well.

The comic's actually funnier than the cartoon itself. Not saying the cartoon isn't awesome, just saying the comic's even funnier. =P
