I never said Toad wasn't in the game. I meant the status would be like toad where you get put in a costume ;|
 
If you cast Zombie on an undead, would you be able to Aspir it?

Which reminds me, if you hit Yu Yevon in FFX with Zombie Attack, you can kill him by casting Life on him.

Super easy.

Or toss a single phoenix down at that undead enemy on the train ride early on in FFVIII, sigh things were so much simpler back then. :)

Or you could have characters that hit for 99,999 and 1 or 2 shot him. I forget if he has 99k or 100k hp ;|
 
My SE inside sources have told me that Absolute Virtue is killable by casting raise on it, but they forgot zombie wasn't in this game, and if it was players wouldn't be able to use it. So AV is a programming error. lol :)

I just double casted Ultima on him with Yuna's Nirvana

It exists. Gi'Ghi's Peistes do it with their Calcifying Mist move.

And yes, it works exactly as you say it does, with the added benefit of movement speed getting slower and slower.

After 20 seconds, you're finally just Petrified.

It's gay.

Damn. I haven't done enough pashhow campaigns to see this NM, but at least you don't lose exp then...
 
I got hit with gradual petrify once. Never attacked that things pet ever again lol...lasted so long

that just means your WHM sucked with casting stona... but you're taru, so i would've done the same... taru = cannon fodder
 
Se needs to make Frog status work like it's supposed to, and not just put on a costume but also drastically reduce attack and defense. Then those frogs might be just a little more fearsome.


EDIT: I'd support zombie, with it also being reasonably inaccurate (oxmoron, I know). Can't have Whms doing too much in a party. Guess the spell would go to Drk? They use forbidden magic anyway...
 
Summoning wasn't forbidden until after the Kuraha-Buraha incident though :/ They were still considered 'heretics', but it wasn't outlawed.

I'd say reduced attack and defense, plus locked out of weaponskills and magic. But with an added benefit of some amount of enmity shed.

And ofcourse, no charm effect.

people seem to forget this lol glad someone remembered;)

c'mon now BloodPacts? that doesn't sound a tad bit detrimental?

some more debuffs for smn would be awesome, slowga sucks=/ and the thunderspark is a bit outdated in damage at higher levels as well as fenrir's early paralyze additonal effect bp.

but they have decent proc rate, thunderspark especially
