Sounds to me more like the new conquest system for the past.
Guess we'll see.
 
So, this is how they plan to incorporate the mob extinction they talked about in the 1st announcement. Looks interesting.
 
Transliteration is campagnie but reads campani-ay.
 
Thats a good thing too. Seems the whole Conquest theme has been dead for a while now. This should liven it up a bit, even if just for a little while.

Or, it may just make the beginning zones lag-tastic for everyone...

Likely. They're in Dynamis, and the Dynamis monsters were part of the Shadow Lord's armies.

Makes me curios though... They say it takes place across ALL regions, which sounds like it'd mean all zones, like Conquest. Does that mean we'll see plenty of high-level Beastmen all the time, or will it basically be just like it is now. As in, no waves of enemies like in Besieged, just random beastmasters that pop every now and then? And would some Warchief or Leader NM spawn near the outposts that you need to kill in order to "repress" the enemy forces?

It sounds interesting, but I can't imagine it would be a battle system on the scale of Besieged that takes place in every single zone randomly...

Anyway, I wonder if we'll see Cactars, Manticores, Hippogryph, and Morbol/Ochu in Valkurm...

Why does this sound like a way to bring back garrison? if not exactly like it disregarding the increased mob prescense if a party loses?

unless it's like the sandy 7-1 nm you pop and let it mpk everyone in w.ron
 
Dividing it up into 3 different areas to correspond to the cities is an interesting idea. Lets hope it helps out with the Besieged lag.
 
Hmm..I wonder if each battle is going to take place in different areas at the same time.
The players on our server would have to divide to defend each nation's grounds.

This will start to push people to be more patriotic about their home nations.
Who will you fight for? :-D

The fact we're divided up, and not bunched into one area like Besieged, may fix a lot of lag issues. This war-like enviroment is going to rock if things run in a smooth heavy paced enviroment. :-)

This all sounds awesome get a party of Blm's ^.^ -Aga time. These new games seem like there making BLM, and yes drum roll please ...... PLD! back where they should be! see you on the battlefield :ph34r:
 
It should be an active battle system.

Walking through Sarutabaruta and a swarm of Yagudo just pop around a tower? Better have THF sub. <.<
 
Lol those forts in Ronfaure gonna have a purpose now? ;o
