This is the internets. If you can't find an image readily suited to this particular task, I admit to a significant degree of trepidation.

Now that we've thoroughly derailed this, I have to say I'm looking forward to it. The animation we've seen so far looks beautiful, though I do have the minor complaint that they have apparently completely recast the voice actors, at least in the Japanese version of the film.

Oh, you guys.
Go find a bedpost to break... again. >_>;
jk <3
And yeah, looking forward to this.. Shame that we probably won't get it in the States until 2013 if we're lucky enough to get it at all.

I dunno, the animation looked so clean. Too clean.
Berserk shouldn't have all the rough edges smoothed away like that. There needs to be a sense of how gritty and grisly that world is and the short clip I just watched had none of that. Too crisp, too clean, not worn around the edges the way I would have hoped. The cinematography and artistic direction does not sit well with me thus far. Then again, I loved the not-high-end-budget original, placing it slightly below Cowboy Bebop on my list of favorite animes, so I'm probably biased simply because it's not just them re-releasing the original work.

Hard to say; most of the scenes in the trailer are from the lighter parts of that particular arc, after all. That was always part of the contrast in Berserk, between the hope of the early days of the Hawks, and the despair that followed.
Either way, there's a difference between gritty and cheap, lol.

It's really hard to gauge it well given how short the clip was.
Going back and looking over some of the old stuff I'll agree that a lot of it was just cheap animation, but there's still something about the new art style that just doesn't sit well with me. Oh well, back to waiting for the next volume of the manga.
