New Box, old characters?

Well, i'm a moron. i have LOST my book with the keycodes. they are probably SOMEWHERE, but i cant count on finding them. I will need to instal the game on my new computer soon (next few weeks) and am going to have to buy a new game box. I'm worried that i'll be unable to acces my current content ID's with new keycodes. Am i just being paranoid? Or am i going to lose my characters.

Most likely. I'd make some crass comment, but Im attatched to my characters more than just the time invested in them. I got sad when I had to delete one.

Try calling customer service. With you credit card number and billing statement they will be able to help you.

yeah. i'm planing on doing that anyways before i do anything, just wanted to ask here first to see what to expect

You won't lose your characters. Once you have a copy of FFXI installed and registered, you can put any number of POL accounts on it. On my boyfriend's computer he has POL logins for himself, myself, Jaice, and Amoke. You'll be fine; it's just too bad you have to spend another $50 just for CD keys.

Tattoo your CD-keys on your arm this time, so you won't lost them! xD

thanks. ive been worried sick about maybe haveing to restart after all that effort

i was actualy going write them down, when i realsized i had lost them. they were written down in my old laptop, wich had to be reformated. i went to get the book to but them back inside, and poof, couldnt find it!
