While spending a leisurely New Year in the comforts of their Mog House may sound appealing to some, you might find more excitement in chasing down these mystery beasts across field and valley!

Damn you, had my hopes up for more r/e inventory clutter that I'll never use.
 
I had no idea there was an event like this until I thought I was being chased by two huge beasts in Tahronghi Canyon. I stepped off the Crystal after my teleport and spun my camera around to see them coming right towards me. I ran back up the crag and hid behind some afk 75, until i realized they were not real mobs.

Embarassing.

Lol, that would of been hilarious to see you do. Some have bad luck with drops, and I think sometimes you just have bad luck with unwanted deaths >_<


On another note, there isn't actually any prize or reward is there? I've seen these guys running around everywhere, but haven't heard of anything you gain from the event other than its suppose to be "lucky" to see them?
 
You get a pretty club called the Battledore, and a painting called Hoary Spire. Both r/e.

There's a club with a unique model, and if you have full airship access, there's a wall-hanging furnishing with Moghancement: Money.
 
I spent 2 hours trying to get that damn gift for the brat in bastok but the bugards refused to give it up. I hate this event.

Only the Wood Bugards will give the item you need to trade back to the kids. The others are just the "for show." I got mine in like 5 minutes of /following and trading crystals and some junk I got harvesting the night before.
 
I bet moghancement: money just increases the gil drop off beastmen by a slight bit. So if a gob will normally drop 120 gil, maybe you'll get 130+ gil or something, doubt it'd be too much though.

enhancement money make beastmen drop more gil like haveing the trait Gilfinder for an job with this painting
 
trading R/E items works very well and you should get them back to, i used an old BCNM40 orb a few times untill i got the gift.
