New Found Respect

I have no idea how many times this has been a topic but I have to put out my thanks to all rdm and whms that have kept me alive. I recently took up the job as a whm. It is by far way harder than any melee job I have attempted. I have let 3 members die in a 2 day period and we are under lvl 10.... I will stick with my drk, war & rng.
I would actually like to apoligize to all whms I have bashed for "not doing their job". This experience bumps me down to a noob in my book LOL.

I had problems when I started out as WHM. I was level 7 or 8 and I was in my first party. The whole group died a horrible death including me. The DRK at the time asked me what I did and I told him. I was useing the mouse to heal. He told me to use the F1 - F6 keys. That helped a whole lot. He told me he was a lvl 30 WHM also and to hang in there. Setting up macros to heal is a real good idea also. But most of it is when you are in a party is a team effort. If one member starts screwing up then the whole party falls apart. So if the Pld, War, or Nin is doing their job then the WHM can do their job. Same with melee and other mages, Blm, Rdm, Smn, and Brd. So I as a Whm can not take the credit in keeping a party alive. I appreciate it though. I do well when the whole party contributes. Even melee helps out cause the faster they kill that monster the more mp I can save for the next one and less downtime. Thanks to all Tanks, Melee, and other mage classes for keeping us alive.
