New Future Avatars Planned way before???

As of right now, Phoenix is still bound to Tenzen's sword so maybe he'll be set free in the next expansion when we get to see that Far East spoken of in the last cs of COP.

If Phoenix starts appearing, maybe someone can sneak up and steal its feathers so we finally have some Phoenix Down...

Yeah - Pheonix Downs would be wonderful, but doubtful. ; ;

And Bahamut - If he could only become a Summonable avatar.. *.*
I'd think maybe this new quest with Bahamut will give a hint on getting him - or even possiblity of getting another, normal sized, Bahamut.
Or dare I speculate them bringing some avatars in the game for one-hit attacks, like in old-school FF games?

This game just keeps getting more and more interesting to me. ^^

I don't see how Odin would work as an Avatar. In the previous games, all he did was Zantetsuken (instant kill), and in a couple of them his lance throw. I can see Odin making an appearance like Bahamut in CoP, rather than an Avatar

I can definately see Odin and Alexander being in this game. Anyone who's done all of the current NPC quests already knows about the two mirrors: Blighted Gloom (Odin), and Blessed Radiance (Alexander). These are two of (if not THE) Treasure's of Agh'Terwhatever.. It's quite clear if you know how to follow a story.

I think they won't be introduced as summonable avatars, much like what Swish says at the end of the quote. They'll most likely be heavily influencing the story of ToA and quite possibly appear in some cut scenes at some point. Oh man, I can't wait.

Yea, the next expansion is gonna flow HEAVILY around Fellowship content....I am almost positive. And Odin and Alexander will be at the top of it all, just like Ecks said. I'm just glad that i'm maxed out on everything for my fellow, lol.

That map was given out at the Chicago 'Dear Friends' concert for $20. I got mine, if anyone wants pictures. It was a big book with some nice shots of the FF's and the music from said FF's being played. Pretty, maybe not worth the $20.. but still pretty.
