I'm surprised there hasn't been any word on AF2 for the ToA jobs. I really hope they come out with that before giving the new jobs the whole show.

something i'm suprised about as well jobs got their relic released a year after being released correct? it's been over a year but no dice yet they could be in the small update on the 12 or the usual big dl before the expansion release

I will keep saying BLU AF2 is the HOMAM Armor set, but other jobs keep stealing it...

Seriously, if this AF trend continues we will end up seeing Dancer and Scholar AF2 in 2009! D=

SE is prolly having trouble thinking of a way to put new relic into the game without storyline people bitching. They can't just suddenly toss in relic into dynamis or Limbus and they can't exactly make Dynamis ToAU.

If anything they should either make it drop from a Capt class assault or make a different Einherjar zone and have it drop there. I really don't see them adding it any other way. Though it's doubtful because they can't make one zone only drop 3 relic jobs. Which is why I'd aim towards the assault idea.

Edit: They can add Dancer and Scholar relic to the dynamis zones with no prob because they can say that when we went back in time we caused a rift and Dancer/Scholar weren't extinct or w/e and now we have new mobs in dynamis. They can't do that for ToAU because they weren't there in the crystal war and mobs didn't have those jobs.

Or maybe they could do this now that Toau jobs will be involved in the crystal wars because of us Adventurers!

However, I think SE mentioned that toau af2 wont be from dynamis at all.

The only part about Item use for Scholar is a minor bit in the initial description. I, for one, am hoping for an "item-based" magic skill - something like how Ninjitstu works, just more mage-like effects. But that's really just speculation.

If anything, Scholar at least looks like it'd be closer to Calculator than Chemist...

Personally, with Scholar I hope for two things:

No more /WHM on my BLM. (I don't mind helping cure, but one more main-heal request and I'll scream.)
No gil-sink abilities Utsusemi style. I really don't like the trend that Gil = Success. Paying to use a JA is a ridiculous idea IMNSHO.
