Well ive been a member of the official street team for years and its my job to get the word out. The new album sounds much different than any of their past stuff and the new single just premiered today.
The new album is titled "Minutes to midnight" and is slated for a may 15th release.

As of april thrid, tomorrow, the new music video by joseph hahn will be available on itunes for download. Be sure to check that out!

be sure to check out each episode of LPTV at http://youtube.com/linkinparktv
I love lptv, because i was in one of the original episodes. I believe 23 at columbus summer sanitarium. might not be that number, but im in one either way lol.

Great, I like LP's music! The last thing I got from them was Meteora and that was a while back. I'm surely checking how they sound now. ;D

also usually around the time of a new album i get a shitload of rare samplers and stickers and crap to give away, so ill let you know when i get some.

Sure babe, take all the fun lol. Well, not much left to say since Chas took most of it. I do like the first single.

From the looks of things, there will be three different versions of Minutes to Midnight coming out.
Minutes to Midnight CD
Minutes to Midnight Special Edition CD/DVD
* This special edition CD/DVD has a hard bound, 24-page book of full-color artwork and lyrics, presented in a linen-wrapped cover with embossing on front.
Minutes to Midnight Super Fan Edition CD/DVD Art Book
* This bundle includes a super fan edition CD/DVD with a hard bound "coffee table" style art book. The book is complete with 64 pages of artwork and lyrics with 4 frameable fine art cards tucked inside die-cut pockets in the back of the book. The book is presented in a heavyweight linen-wrapped slipcase with an embossed design on the front cover

Yeah it does sound a little different but I like it. Hopefully the whole album will turn out to be pretty good.

Crawling In My Skin!!

thats your opinion, which could have easily not needed the post but ok.
i owe what i have in life to lp, if it was not for them, i wouldnt be where i am today.
And they are not an emo band. that jokes old. hell not even near goth at all. have you heard goth or emo music, like real goth or emo music? not just the stuff that everyone cause emo because they dont like songs about feelings which even the heaviest bands write about. i mean real goth and emo music, sounds nothing like LP's alt rock/hybrid sound.

Although I am not really a fan, I like the stuff where the rap guy shuts the fuck up. And damn, what a pretentious video,

I think they teamed up with Rick Rubin for this album. It's supposed to be completely revamped in terms of the old LP.

Protip: The right step to making a good Linkin Park bash is to actually make a funny comment, and not the old recycled emo shit.

Rather have emos than a bunch of white boys thinking they are OG and shit. Wiggers make me sick.

That's a little dramatic, no? I mean, I love The B-52's, but I don't feel like I owe them anything.

I liked LP's sound when they first came out, but after a while, you realize a lot of it sounds the same. Listening to Meteora is like picking one song from the first CD and hitting the 'repeat track' button. (RHCP is the same way, only much worse.)

Heck no! lol

Faint is different from Breaking The Habit and they are uber different from Papercut (1st album) and say, Crawling.

I like the instrumental only songs that are on both of their current albums. Those are different than the other songs.

not dramatic at all because its true, had there been no linkin park i would have never joined the street team, i would have never met my wife and never had my kids. i woulda probly still been some depressed kid livin in his parents basement also, but some of their songs gave me a new spin on life that made me take the bad alot easier. i wouldnt be where i am today had it not been for them.
