There is a logo contest active right now.

I've been working on something for a day now.

Yup, as Akamu said, we have a logo contest, see General Discussion for the announcement. I strongly encourage people to submit their entries, while I think it is possible that we have some true design professionals here, I also think that anyone with access to Photoshop or a similar tool can come up with at least a screenshot collage that somehow says QCDN or so on it.

I was working with something that involved the tradition meaning of quetzalcoatl (winged serpent), but then I realized I missed ff8, *eek*.. I was a ff7 fan.. watch my roommate play 8.. but never played it myself.. anyways, I did some research and found that ff quetzal is a bit different from the differnt meso-american definitions.. so now I'm contemplating changing directions with the logo.. and going with something with lightning and a winged creature.. we'll see.

hmmm logo contest eh? we should have one every month to keep it looking fresh

i was messing around with adobe photoshop for a bit and i came up with this its not as good as the logo we have but i was bored.

The logo contest ended a while ago.
Basically I see a logo as a kind of "brand", I am not opposed to changing it once in a great while, but monthly is not an option.
