New MGS4 Trailer coming out Thursday

Wow yes! This means we may have a Demo by 2009!!! I am so excited! Jk with ya Cloc, i know you get excited for MGS. Just teasing ya so relax lol... =D

New Metal Gears.

I assume we'll see a new, big Metal Gear for Liquid Ocelot to run around in too.

Heh, it makes sense. Though I wouldn't mind if they brought back wolf, octopus, and mantis back to life like they did with Grey Fox. Don't know what to say about raven, lol. UNLESS, he wasn't eaten by the birds. Maybe he escaped right before the camera zoomed in on the scene, lmao. But no really, I'm pretty glad to see those names back in the series.

best preview for this game is the Gameplay Footage (HD) video. Shows a konami rep playing the game and describing it for 15min, complete with subtitles.

few notes on the video:
notice that when he is using the camo, theres no camo index, like in snake eater, i wonder how thats gonna work.

on the soldier snake holds up, he does a Volgin-Big Boss maneuver on him.... if u know what i mean, took me a few times watching it to realize what had happened lol.

Snakes got some sexy new tricks, and u can take a break from espionage and aid in the war that occurs around you, i bet if u help one side enough, the story will change somehow.

eva makes a return somehow, she must be about 70. raiden of course returns, u see him fighting one of the sons of liberty. it says simultaneous realease in that video, which probly means the game is gonna be split up, like mgs2 was. doubt theyd make 2 games (except for the 2nd version that you know there gonna come out with)

this is supposedly the last game of the series, so theres probly gonna be some crazy ass paradox, OMG moment in the end of the game, cant wait to see what it could be.

*queue snake saying "Metal Gear!?" in that sexy way he does*
(he says it in that gameplay video, but it sounds much better by david hayter than with a japanese accent, imo)

looking forward to this more than ff13, it may be the game that makes me finally break down and buy a ps3

Indeed. There's only a few games that I consider "Classics". Games like the FF series, Lunar, BoF, Sonic, Mari, and the most important game to me the MGS series. The MGS series has really got to my soul. It was MGS1 that truly unlocked my heart to gaming. The gameplay, and most importantly the story is so deep. Hideo is truly an amazing man. MGS forever. I'm buying a PS3 90%for MGS4 true strike. 5% goes to FFXIII, and the remaing to all the other games I might get down the years.
