despite the numerous deaths sufered by myself, mai, and lolotab i would have to call last nights subligar run a success. and i want to applaude those that stuck it out the whole way. Mai, lolotab, ScorchingIguana, warmech, Espio & Mubuss(sorry buds), lazzurus, Zeldar, Elphaba and myself.
we started off camping near EBA (bish fomor NM >.<) and got very lucky with drops. 2 nin subs the first 2 kills. elphaba got her thf one with the fist THF fomor we took down. a rng was kind enough to spawn and give me his. we went 2/3 on BST subs at that camp before desiding to move. moving is when the rough waters hit. we needed to move to get the 2 samuri subs that we needed. the first fomor party we found was to big a pain to kill so Mai found us another: rdm, pld, sam fomors. worked out a semi-flawless plan and managed to live through the first fight. sam droped a subligar that lolotab lotted a 70 something on. Mai was probably grinning ear to ear at that moment thinking the first drop was his........untill he lotted a 17
after the laughter subsided we rested and waited for respawn. group poped again we take em down no trouble but no drop. at this point people time remaining was starting to run out. the party spawned again and we took em down but lost our blm and whm, both of whom forgot reraise :banghead3: . since we didnt have time to wait for raises and people to HP and come back and all we deside to pull an all or nothing for one last try to get mai his drop. we rest up and wait. fomors pop bst sends 2 hour-shamed pet after fomor rdm and pld and we gang up on the sam. i go nutz with souleater and zerk to do as much dmg as i can before i died. we manage to kill the sam and subligar drops ^^. but mai is down and cant lot. scorch was smart and escaped those still standing and the fallen HP'd to make sure mai got it.
all in all i think everyone had fun despite the minor setbacks and all. i'd go again with these guys anyday of the week.
Edit: name spelling errors fixed so i stay off the naughty list for xmas. :-Þ
