I think it looks good.
Discuss.

Haven't played the others.

Looks amazing though.

Is this like based on the first game or something?

Same. I should rent the others and play em some time... but this looks spiffy.

Looks really good, I've been meaning to start the other games sometime when I have spare change D:

Wow that's really sick looking!

I love cell shaded games, it makes the games 92495893 times more interesting... And, look, the game is using a lot of color instead of the "omgsorealisticlookinbrown"... Hate when games have largely one color taking over all the others.

If this is Multiplayer it would make it so much more win

Cel-shade has changed more than I expected it ever could. The trailers are just amazing lookin'. I've never liked Prince of Persia one bit but if it stays like this I'll play it for looks alone.

Rogue Galaxy 2 lookin' like this = fat boner.

The fighting system in the game is just stunning, i love the combos and use of your tag team partner...just too pretty for words. Loving this so far. achivements pop up for doing dumb stuff tho lmao

well once u get the combos down, the fights in this game are CAKEWALK, no challenge. hopefully later they will be.
but this game reminds me sooo much of ICO, just how the gameplay with the girl runs. Just more dialogue and cooler moves and oh, i dont think you can die at all...i have tried alot.

Think Tomb Raider for severe dummies, like Uncharted but a little bit easier because you don't have to aim a reticle.

That's only my take on playin' a a bit of it with some of my friends at the game store. I'll be rentin' this but when it hits the $40 mark I'll definitly buy it. I had a lot of fun with the time I spent playin' and watchin' it. I'm kind of a stickler for platform+action games though, no matter how easy they are. I'll say this though, despite bein' a bit on the too easy side, this is the most enjoyable game in the series since the first, when it was still popular, or "underground popular".

Prince of Persia was never about the fighting. Yeah, it was there, but it wasn't the draw. This is why Warrior Within sticks out as a black sheep. They shifted too much emphasis on fighting. The combat has never been hard at all either. Any complaints about the fighting being too easy/scarce means you're playing the wrong game. The games have always been about fluidity. And this one really sets the bar above the others.

They removed dieing because, frankly, dieing in games these days is pointless anyway with all the constant checkpoint and autosaving. So why bother even having it? What's even worse are games that still have life counts and contain checkpoints and saves.

I really liked Sands of Time, but never played the games after it. I actually have the old POP Collection for PC that has the original part 1 and 2 on CD, of which both were really good games for their time. I'm tempted to try this one out, but I really have a hard time dropping $60 on a game. I'd definitely get this on console over PC, however. As much as a PC gamer that I am, this game type just works so much better with a gamepad, and I hate having to reconfigure my 360 controller for PC games that, for some reason, don't automatically set their buttons for it even though there is a duplicate console version of the game.

I played Sands of Time on PS2 up until the planetarium thing and the girl crawled in a crack in the wall to hit a switch, and I saved my game after that.. I had this feeling in the back of my head that if I restored at the point (saved before she hit the switch, but after she crawled behind the wall), that I was going to get stuck because the script wouldn't pick up in the middle of it... sure enough, I was right. I was stuck and couldn't progress any farther. :(
