new quest in safehold

working on figuring out a new quest in safehold.. quest starter is Tressia, and the quest name is In Search of the Truth

might be why theres at least 6 new ??? scattered around the safehold.

no idea what the Luck Rune in lufaise meadows is for.

Tressia's quest reward is a new cape. + magic accuracy and such.

- Talk to Tressia
- Talk to Noam, Zadant, Ferdouine (sp?), Raminey (sp?)
- Talk to Tressia and find the correct sequence of events (Ram>Fer>Zad>Noam but not sure anymore!)
- Talk to the 2 guards around Justinius to watch their reports
- Find where they made those report (write down your <pos>)
- Talk to Tressia and choose the correct <pos> of each report
- Check all the ??? from the entrance to Tavnazia down to the Water near Noam and find the Shaded Cruse.

Strangely, I'm stuck here

Need some help at that point.

Check all of the rest of the ???'s until you reach the one at the safehold entrance- you'll get a cutscene and the quest completion jingle.
Go back to Tressia, then O-somethingorother at the entrance to get your cape. It's only +1 magic acc and +2 "magic defense bonus"... don't know how much the acc would help but it doesn't -sound- too useful.

yea you have to follow the water trail up from the tributary.
and aft the end of the last CS there go to ondeliux by the safehold entrance for your gramary cape.

no idea what mission you have to be on to do this.. if you even do.

Hmm, it's not rare/ex so I might as well do this quest asap and toss it up on the AH before the price drops. :lol:

Yeah I was rather pissed. This is probably the only quest in FFXI this long that I did without looking up or asked someone what to do. I hoped to get rewarded better =(

I Bazaard mine and sold it for 50k in jeuno, so can probably get more for it than what ppl are setting it as on AH. Look at powerful rope which is only as expensive as it is because ppl wont go more than chapter 2 in CoP
