New Quests from the Update

So far only tried Windy so far; found the first new quest on the first NPC I checked. Dhea Prandoleh, over at the Campaign building. After the inital cutscene, you're directed to go to Saruta, but I haven't figured out what to do from here yet. Updates to follow I'm sure!

Update 1: After the first CS, check the Sealed Entrance of the southern tower in West Saruta (S). After that cutscene, head back to Dhea. From here it looks like you hafta gather a few items. Possible items seem to be forest carp, pipira, greedie, and blackened siredon. Dunno if you need one or all of them. None are on the AH or at the fishing guild atm at any rate. x.x

Just going to organize it =p.

1.New Windurst quest: Talk to npc next to the C.A in Windurst Waters . Forget the name. Sorry. Then journey to the southernmost tower of the Horutoto Ruins in WSarutaBaruta .
Go back to town and talk to that npc again. Talk to various mithra around town to get hints on what food.
2.Greedie works but he wants more then just that. The mithras around town that I found say pipira, forest carp and blackened muddy seredon.The generals say the same 4 in the cs also so probably need all of them.
3.Head to Jugner and go to the Warmachine at I-6 treestump
4.Traded the far SW tower the three fish other than the muddy siredon and got a cutscene. For some reason, it wouldnt take the siredon. Maybe it needs to be cooked? The reward is hilarious.

That is what I got out of BG? More to come when I get it.

What's that part about Jugner? I never did that and completed the quest fine. I gave him a Greedie first, and a choice came up to either get him more food or not, but I accidently hit yes before I even saw the choice. So I went and got him a Pipira and that time chose No about going to get him more food. He gave me the 12 Red Roses and finished that quest.

Next quest is flagged by zoning into Windurst Waters (S). After the cutscene, head to K-9 Sauromugue Champaign (S) and talk to the Mithra in the fort there (fort is right next to Maw) for a CS. Then check the Abandoned Mineshaft on the ground near her for another CS. After that is an Assault-style fight, which I haven't done yet. Apparently, you fight alongside Romaa Mihgo and the Cobra Unit against a Confederate Belfry, which periodically spawns quadavs and gigas. If Romaa dies, you lose. If you do lose, you can get another key item from the Mithra right nearby to try again. You do lose exp if you die though, since these are quests, not missions.

Go back to the tower in West sab
You'll get a cs each time you trade him, once you've traded the 3rd he'll enter the longer CS.
(You'll get 12 roses at this point as a reward.., It the manthra gay? He even talks like he is in the cs's, he really trys to hit on you, kinda.)
Head back to windy waters via walking or retrace, either work.
Long ass cs then K-9 in saur.cam
Then the to the mine shaft which is 10 feet away from the npc.
BC > Kill the belfry
Back to windy for cs/title/reward.

You only hafta get him one fish. I got him 2 because I accidently chose the wrong choice the first time. It asks you if you wanna get him more or not, and you have to say No to continue. And he's only gay if you're a guy. ;P

Probably the most annoying part of A Feast for Gnats was getting people together for it. Eventually managed to do it without even trying to zerg the belfry by going in as RDM/BLM to cure NPCs, sleep the extra turtle or two and Sleepga the pack of gigas when it arrived. Halifirien was MNK/DNC to fight random mobs and the turtles I slept, while Dalamar kept watch over Romaa as PLD and Nanunanoo came as WHM to keep the NPCs alive. Once the turtles were down, with the gigas all asleep before they even got to anyone, the mithras tore the belfry down in a matter of seconds.

I agree it was pretty hard to get people for the WoTG BCs, but yesterday night me(RDM/WHM) and Zoner(NIN/WAR) were lucky to have a Japan player (BLU/WHM) joining for both Sandy and Windy BC.

Since we just head directly to the Abandoned Mineshaft after the Sandy BC in Garlaige Citadel (S), I guess the fight would be easier if I subbed blm.

It was a bit chaos once we started. I mainly focused on keeping Romaa alive and haste/refresh/phalanx II the others. We just let all the other Mithra NPCs die since we couldn't manage to spare cures to support them. BLU kept most of the mobs asleep with Yawn while Zoner fought and voked mobs off Romaa.

When there weren't too many mobs left (due to the massive sacrifice of other Mithra NPCs but they really went down fast, barely lasted the first 10 mins...maybe less), curing Romaa was not the main priority and Zoner just fought the mob she's on. I helped sleeping / casting gravity on single mobs BLU missed or when Yawn was not up.

The Quadavs and Gigas werent' too hard to kill I observed, we managed to killed all the mobs and rest a bit before heading to the Confederate Belfry. ( I converted once and second convert was almost up... so around 10 mins left at this point I guess...and Romma was the only NPC left, lol.) When Zoner and the BLU started hitting the Belfry, few Quadav spawned and was slept with Yawn again. I managed to do my second convert and landed a few nukes while the others went full zerging, and it went down pretty fast.
