New sig?

Was messing around in photoshop last night and made this. What do you think, Better or worse then my current sig?

I think its all right, might change the colors around or something, thoughts?
 
i like your current sig a bit more. but the new one looks pretty cool. :3
 
The colors seem to blend better in your current one, and I like the pose in your current one better :D
 
I like the new one better, the image quality is a lot nicer though the old one is still awesome with the blending effects... but my preference is for the new one. I like the way that your character stands out more, and that you have the masque equipped.

Question: How did you get the pattern in the bg? The way that you have the lines over there? Would love to make patterns like that and have the right effects to make them show the way they do in your sig.
 
Thats a custom patern, although its really easy to make. So what i did was first made the bg, then i made a new layer and did Ctrl + A to select the canvas. Then goto Edit > Fill, then in the drop down menu next to Use: select Pattern, then just select your custom patern and it adds it.

For that patern all i did was make a new image, transperent BG, 3x3 pix and zoomed in all the way. Then i took the pencil tool and put a 1x1 pencil mark in the top left, middle and bottom right and thats it. Then goto Edit > Define Patterm and your done. You can mix it up to make patterns goin | \ / and - or X. You could do anything just remember it repeats so if you put a pixel on the edge it will repeate and the line will be 2 pixles wide.

I'm pretty sure i've tried that one pattern before, and never ended up acheiving the same results >_<

I'll have to go try it again though. Thanks for posting the info Raider!
 
Well i usually tone down the opacity too, when you leave it at 100% it looks really dark and thick, i might have even change the layer to overlay also to blend it more. Just play around with it to see what you like.
