That movie is gonna be extremely good.

I hope they make Venom appear in the end and don't rush his involvement. It will be better to extend his character into Spidey 4.

They fight, at least somewhat. I bet they rush it. However, I think they said the movie was almost 2 hours long, or maybe a little over. They might take it the other way around where Venom is just a horrible monster, kind of like Ultimate Spider-Man.

We'll see! Great clip though. I cannot wait for this movie. Only two long months to wait.
 
I highly doubt there will be a fourth Spiderman movie. My guess is they rush it and fuck it up. My vote is to make it a 4 hour movie and do it all. NO BATHROOM BREAKS!!

Awesome trailer.

All the spider-man and recent marvel movies have all been the ultimate storylines. Spider-man 3 is included in this save the suit's origins from what i can gather. Unfortunately for the timeline there was no way to include it as either the secret wars suit (/drool thinking about secret wars movies) or the cure for cancer ala ultimate. Regardless it was still my understanding, and correct me if i'm wrong because i haven't read the ultimate books, that Eddie was still the man behind the brain eating face.

Spider-man was only a 3 picture deal and no comments to the contrary have been made about a possible 4th by anyone involved to my knowledge.

I'm willing to bet there's a minor tussle and they leave venom for a cliffhanger ending just to piss us all off.
 
Eddie never actually wore the suit in that. He was just some jackass college student that was constantly trying to get into gwen stacy's pants and was the son of the guy that teamed up with peter's dad to make the suit.

The venom suit was based off of the father's dna I think in ultimate version so the guy behind the teeth was Peter's dad.

Sorry then i was going from fuzzy recollections of the game.

IMO original storylines = win. They'dve gotten a much bigger response going on the classic storylines with the movies and might've gotten quite a bit more marketable life out of them.

This movie still looks like a blast tho. I hate to come off like i'm downing anything Spider-man lol.
 
The marvel movies havn't really been following the Ultimate story lines. Some stuff does cross over but for the most part it's this third storyline. The Ultimate Spider-man video is not completly accurate to the ulitmate comic either. You have to also realize that the game takes place a while after VEnom is introduced.
In the Ultimate comics, Eddie does become Venom but it's also fuzzy to for me to remember what happens. I havn't read it in a while.

The venom suit is actually what causes the plane crash that kills Peter's parents

Movie stuff:
The fight between Peter and Harry was awesome. Really like the new glider, snowboard design FTW.
I doubt there going to save venom for the next movie. There would be no point in setting up the plot of the black suit with out going full steam into Venom. There will be a fight with Venom but it will not kill him. I'm sure the next film, which there will be based on the insane amount if money the movies have made, will probably focus more on Venom and possibly carnage.

But ya, can't wait to watch the movie, and play the game :D
 
Slightly off-topic:

Anyone else with me on a 'Lethal Protector' movie? I don't care if it was animated and straight to video... gimme a venom fix already.
