Oh please don't misunderstand. This doesn't replace the ling rush. It takes a little longer (requires a lair and an advanced building) to build infestors, but once you reach the point of mass production, it will trump MOST other combos.

Also, after seeing the detail and cinamatics and such, i'm really disappointed Fenix didn't make it through the first game. Guy would have been badass in this game.

i gave it a shot and you're right it is very potent. detection will destroy it tho. and if you're already under pressure the eggs wont have time to mass hatch. it's best used while the enemy is preoccupied with other forces and not focused on the infestors. but once they out it's all over.

Aye, after further manipulation, I find it best if you send a massive wave of zerglings or (if allied to a protoss player) have them send in Zealots or Immortals. This gives your eggs just enough time to hatch, and keeps fire off your infested for a few vital seconds. The support they can give the melee classes is second to none.

I played all day yesterday and imo got a lot better - I changed up my strategy a bit, and managed to win against every opponent in Bronze League which it placed me in, so now I'm in Silver League on 1v1. Haven't tried it in Silver League yet, I went to bed after getting promoted.

Can anyone tell me a good start strategy for Terran? Its the only race I always get ass whopped as. I just can't figure it out. Like, when should I build the first barrack, how many by when etc.

I'd appreciate any strategy for any race as I'm sure my zerg and protoss strategies could improve too, as I'm only in Silver League xD

She did; in the Protoss missions he said that "end-of-the-world" with the Hybrid leading the world was because Kerrigan died. He even said to Raynor that he has to save her in order to save the universe. He also said that the Overmind created the Queen of Blades in order to prevent that future from happening - why I do not know, as it resulted in the Zerg conquering the universe. We do not, however, know exactly what the Protoss meant with "Save Kerrigan"; its possible he meant save her from becoming human again, as she's apparently the only one capable of stopping the Hybrids.

Perhaps Mengsk created the Hybrids and he's the one taking control of the Zerg or something through the Hybrids (as you could see in the secret mission he was creating them in a lab).

For all we know the prince double-crossed Raynor, and he's the one creating the Hybrids, and requires Kerrigan to be human in order to be able to fulfill his plans. Afterall, he DID say he intended to surpass his father. His way of doing it might be to take control of the Zerg in order to eliminate the Protoss and any opposing Terran forces.

Is my theory WAY off?

my impression of the big bad guys behind the scene were the Xel'naga coming back to destroy what they've created. In the vision, the zerg became slaves of the hybrid. After the protoss were defeated, the enslaved zerg were all destroyed by the ones controlling them and the universe went dark.

Man kind were saved but what about everyone else? Maybe Kerrigan will become a super hybrid of human/zerg/protoss. I'm not sure. But let me tell you... I called the ending. Not to boast, I was talking to my bf and I told him. "Man, I can totally see Raynor carrying her away at the end... and she's naked"

Maybe "saving" Kerrigan was keeping the Dominion from killing her which is why they sent Tychus. I can't wait a year!!!

The Overmind wanted the Zerg to become free so they wouldn't be enslaved. That is why it created Kerrigan to "free" the zerg

remember our old friend Samir Duran? i do he's the one that confronted Zeratule when we first saw the hybrids. My theory is that old Samir has made a deal of sorts with Arcturas, the tech to harness the power of hybrids, and we all know how much Arcturas loves power, in exchange for the death of the former queen of blades. He was very adamant about getting Sarah killed. Going as far as recruiting Jim's oldest friend as a double agent to get the job done. Arcturas knows full well how jim feels about sarah and he knew that he would go to any length to save her. best place to get the chance to take her out was to be at Jim's side.

Given arcturas' penchant for betrayal i doubt he would have held up his end of the bargain with Finnly anyway.

The only thing really stopping me buying this is the region lock, im not going to buy 2 copies just to play with friends from EU and US. I really hope they dont do this to Diablo 3, but its blizzard... so they probably will.

I don't really think Kerrigan is fully reformed really, she still has some Zerg features left over. She just seems a bit more free of the Zerg kinda mindset. It was a neat end to the first third of the entire SC2 story, but not the end of it all... I want the new games now

I wish I could play SC2 atm, stupid vacation to see my mom's in Colorado and lack of a laptop of my own with my games on it

Not sure when but I played a custom game with a Corrupted Zeratul where half his arm was zerg infested or something. Could of been an edited model but hey if there are unused models like Lurkers I'm sure there is something to be said about the ones we didn't see.

From what I heard it takes place where WoL ended, and will have more of an RPG style of play. Whether that means "between missions" like in WoL, or if its more like the secret mission, Tosh/Nova's mission, first Prophecy mission, and destroying the Nydus Network, I don't know.

Personally I loved the way those missions played, but I'd hate for the entire game to be like that.
