New start page?

Is there a way for the Admin to disable it? Looking at the admin options on the test board, yes.

I think it was better the old way. I don't think it's necessary to show everyone's dynamis schedule on the side because I'm 99% positive that people know their dynamis schedules already, and the "most recent threads" thing is a waste because you can see the most recently updated thread in the forum list anyway. There's no point in having the page. It's just obstacle in the way of getting to the sub-forum list.

I just find it kind of annoying because in my brief 3 second looksy I couldn't find a direct link to the main QCDN home thingy with all the boards listed.

I just click on one of the threads and then go via that way....I don't think your main page would be so bad though Euph - with the awesome thumbs up and all.

PS: is the QCDN 2007 fully functional and ready to tumble yet?

they scrapped it because it wasn't very compatible with the ver. 3.7 update iirc sabs

Apparently the coding for QCDN2007 and Nightshift both are not compatible with 3.7. So for now, we'll probably be adding a couple new templates for the site and turning off Nightshift and QCDN2007 if we plan on fixing them.

Neither were compatible.

QCDN2007 is possibly going to be trashed for good. Nightshift was easy to fix since the templates weren't edited all that much. I cannot promise that we will see QCDN2007 making a return.

The main page is annoying, I admit. I'll work on getting it back to the norm...however, we are in the midst of creating a new start up page that is actually relevant. I cannot give a timeline as I am in the midst of finals, and then will be away for 2 weeks for graduation.

You may want to install site navigation to the actual forum. Have a look at www.japanupdate.com/forum. Using vbadvanced as well. The navigation helps decrease annoyance A LOT. There is a vbadvaned plugin/module for it.
