Wii New Super Mario Bros. Wii ~ With 4-Player Co-Op Gameplay (Video Included)

This game is hectic in multi-player, you can jump into each other and cause each other to die(there's been many "stop throwing me into enemies, motherfucker" around here). That being said, it's extremely fun and satisfying, but you CAN be an asshole to your friends and get them killed. I'm in world 4, and all of the level designs so far have been incredibly well done.

This is an incredible throw-back to the Super Mario Brothers 3-style games; if you enjoyed those games, you will definitely love this one, especially if you have friends to play with.

Yeah, I'm having a blast so far. On world 5 now, but I missed a good amount of star coins, which I plan to go back and recollect. The game is a real blast so far, and there's been some nice surprising levels that I've seen.

Out of all the worlds I've played (All of 1-4, half of 5), my favorite has gotta be 4 in terms of overall levels, but each world has a few things that I really dig. Can't wait to play some more with some friends next time we're all free.

Just finished world 5 in our 3-player game, the level designs are getting better, but some of the levels are more challenging because we're playing with 3 people. There's been a few times where two of us "bubbled" and the third ran the course, just to make things easier.

Just hit world 7 today, man, I love this game. I definitely see myself playing this time and time again just like the other Mario games, it has the same classic feel, but in my opinion, very cool levels. I totally love going into the castles too, they're really well done and remind me a lot of Super Mario World.

If you have a modded wii, you can use various cheat codes to essentially make 100% custom levels, now.

It's really cool, some people put out a level creator that makes the codes for you.

I play this 4player at my hippie friend's house. Its amazing how fairly chill people suddenly erupt in bouts of profanity playing this game.

(mike is still a jumpfaggot for last nights turtlefuckery..)

Looks like alot of fun honestly, cause I love all the old school mario games. Just I'll never buy a wii =/

lol on penny arcade tycho calls the new mario bros, marriage poison. and suggest multi-player be referred to as "Divorce Mode".

I'm lookin forward to gettin this one tho.

In world 7, there's a ton of clouds, which you can disperse temporarily by doing your spin move(shake the wiimote). In one level we were standing on a ledge with a bunch of clouds below us, and I said "I wonder if there's something hidden down there." My roommate picks me up, says "go check" and throws me down to my death(didn't bubble in time). That bastard.

I've beaten the game now, working on getting the star coins to unlock the levels in world 9.

A buddy of mine and I Mario And Luigi'd it through the whole main campaign straight through and worked cooperatively pretty well the whole time. Well, more or less.
There were still occasions when one of us would leap on the other, sending them to their doom, which would erupt in, "WHYYOUASSHOLEWE'REBROTHERSGODDAMMIT"

And then last night there was 4 player Coin Battle.
I can't list the horrible obscenities that were uttered there, but dear lord if you have not tried coin battle with 4 people, or heck even 2 people, you have not yet lived. It was quite possibly one of the best multiplayer experiences I've ever had.

Anapuna and I played thru the first 4 worlds..

For the first time in my life, I wanted to hit a women. >.>

Kidding. >.>;;;;

I'm slowly learning that bubbling is a terrible habit.

This game was a lot of fun. I did a play through on my own and another with my brother. Sadly, I'm not sure I'll ever have the chance to experience the four player craziness as my parents both are very bad at the game. I could try some friends, but so far they're about on par with my parents - .-

Also, I've collected all of the star coins from worlds 1-8. 9-8 was extremely fun... I won't spoil it for those of you that haven't been there yet, but I def. recommend trying to unlock it. 9-1 and 9-7 have proved to be the most challenging for us (haven't beaten them yet) ... getting coins on these levels should be fun.
