Heres his story line ;)
This unearthly three-headed beast prowls the tunnels of Halvung. According to legend, Cerberus is the watchdog that guards the gates of the underworld. It is said that any who manage to escape will be hunted until Cerberus sends them back to his shadowy realm. However, the Cerberus of Halvung was discovered buried in igneous rock during a construction project. The beast went on a rampage until the mercenary chief managed to tame him. Although Cerberus is faithful to his master, one of his heads is continually afflicted with a craving, which puts the beast in a constant foul mood. In his endless rage, Cerberus spews toxic flames without cease or concern for surroundings, resulting in many hapless tragedies. It is for this reason that even the menacing Troll mercenaries are said to cover their ears and shiver in fear when the jarring roar of Cerberus echoes through the tunnels.

Those 3 new NM's may be in assaults.

I know that the Lamia No. 19 is in an assault named Lamia No. 19 so maybe there will be more assaults that will showcase more of these NM's.

That won't happen, because that actually makes sense. And SE doesn't like doing stuff that makes sense.

It would be great though, lvl 50 capped assault with AF as a reward.

Assault Ranks are more main story than the actual missions imo. The trailer focused a lot on Salaheem and Odin than it did the tribulations of the Astral Candescence and Gordeus.

Nah, they aren't the Besieged NMs, the Mamool Ja has been relieved of his position temporarily due to several failed attacks, so he wouldn't be part of a military attack. And the trolls themselves seem to have been been banished from thier own home from the looks of things in thier description.

Nah, they aren't the Besieged NMs, the Mamool Ja has been relieved of his position temporarily due to several failed attacks, so he wouldn't be part of a military attack. And the trolls themselves seem to have been been banished from thier own home from the looks of things in thier description.

They're also only introducing one area of the Underwater Ruins region. So no Assault area.

Weapons will be part of a different ark I expect.
 
Eh, 3 pieces of AF will be quests like all existing jobs have, so that would only leave 3 AF pieces from assaults.

There has been some confusion regarding the release of Chocobo raising and the continuation of the Treasures of Aht Urhgan storyline.

Chocobo raising and the continuation of the Treasures of Aht Urhgan storyline have been delayed slightly, and are scheduled to be implemented shortly after the July 24 version update.

More details will be announced when they become available. We apologize for any confusion.
