New video card + monitor

[Realia]

So I got a new video card a little while ago and just got a new monitor. The video card is an ASUS EN9800 GT and the monitor is a LG Flatron 20" widescreen with HD support. ohmygooddness it is beautiful.

I'm still drooling over this. And I know, I'm not a huge tech geek or anything but I most certainly do appreciate the beauty in this. The picture can simply not do it enough justice.

I need new PC games. Any recommendations?

I got a new monitor and 9800GT recently and did what you're about to do. I bought a buncha games just because I wanted to see how they looked. I'd advise against that. In no time I was back to my same old routine. I'd just download demos But if you must, I'd suggest the new Prince of Persia or Tomb Raider Underworld, if your PC can run new games.

I got Asus 21.5" 1080p Widescreen last month :3

Haven't update my GC yet, still 7800GTX hehe

Edit: Btw.. is that Chocobo Plush up there?

Thanks Strid, I'll make sure to download some demos first. I was already thinking of getting the new Prince of Persia though, it looks fucking sweet.

I got the monitor for a $100 off it's original price on Newegg; they were having a 72 hour sale last week and bought it then. I love Newegg.

And yes, that is a Chocobo plush, the White Mage and baby chocobo to be precise. ^_^

Yeah I got a 24" LG monitor a few months back and it looks amazing, going to widescreen was awesome. Even FFXI looks better IMO.

For games depends on what you like to play but recently i got the new Prince of Persia, Mirrors edge and Assassins Creed for PC and all look awesome. If you play any shooters Crysis obviously looks amazing as does both CoD games. I haven't played it myself but I'm sure Mass Effect looks great as well.
