I've recently gone down to test my luck with Stroper Chyme and noticed there is a linkshell named Darkweilders that are getting probably 2/3 of claims and from what I'm told they've been there for several days in a row already. My friend has got them to admit to gil selling but I'm not sure if they were joking or not. They speak clear english and whatnot so I'm just wondering what you all think of these people, or if you know any of them. Now, don't take this the wrong way and say I'm crying "Gil Seller" at a little competition but it seems the same MO as Nuki and friends used. Let me know what you think.
 
There are new gil sellers.. for instance, Joooo and Dyaga in ordelles, also, 2 groups of gil sellers are back in sanctuary of zihtah... its very sad :/
 
Mengdar? I outcamped that thief 3/5 times. He would use flee and hide 30 seconds before the pop and just run around thinking we wouldn't know where he was. I managed to the claim 8 straight times 2 nights ago as well. Still no drop on this buddy though. I say in the past week, I'm 0/30.
 
My horrible drop rate is now about (and not over estimating) 2/230 on the ring. I've given up on camping it for drop, I just help out my friends when they're getting out-camped because I'm a very fast voke. Just thought I'd mention we were going 3 on 2 against the Taru pair and we got about 3/5 spawns (the statistical probablilty exactly) so I guess it all depends on person to person luck. Some advice to those who camp against them: the whm is the main claimer, I have never seen the blm get one.
 
Oh, the Taru group lol The ones that claim everything and call for help? Too bad for them that I had some buddies with me that were 60+ and we cleared out all the mobs so they had no pets to play with. :twisted: The taru whm is in RSE gear I believe, and he name begins with an A. I can't remember it though.
 
Well taur i talked withem they are JP 1 chinese they don't sell gil he claimed and are trying to make money (it looks like they static since they have RDM BLM WHM THIEF WAR PLD)

They dont sell it so yeah but there are some sellers out there T.T but yeah they have only stolen 3 out of 20 from me they arent much harm and fairly nice.

Edit the names i can remember are Ever somthing Angle (whm) and kriseman the war.
 
Sad but in a way totally obvious, these are more than likely the one and the ssame gilsellers....they get banned, nothing really stops em from using an alternate creditcard. And if they hafto buy a new FFXI installation pack, it's not like they won't get it back in a heartbeat. Getting a few characters back to ~50 so they can farm crap worth a crapton probably isn't that tough for them either, when they're on 24/7..
 
It's a 24 hour job for them, and the character is usually run by more than one person. Think of it ... 3 people each taking 8 hour shifts a days. It's a regular 40 hour work week. Damn logic :evil:
 
darkweilders (and i'm not reading the full post so whatever) aren't gil sellers at all, they're just individual people who like making money as a group. i have a pearl to the shell, it came from me ol pal ixidor who was gone for nearly 3 months. definately not gilsellers or i'd be richer than i am.
 
yay!! Gil Sellers are back!! maybe they'll lower the prices the way they were :D cause really.. they were the ones keeping things lower >.>

I was in western altep today and I saw a party of people named with keystrokes like dfksjl and such wearing lizard gear and such fight dhamels...
So yeah, they are back.
 
Gillsellers dont bother me that much...

I dont see what the big deal is.... Price of crystals is going up, so is the price of everything else, not harder to make money.
 
Lol finnally now leave the damn caves so i can get back to owning the gil sellers

Ixi was away for 3 months?????? he's been our ls on a daily bases as far as I can remember
 
Thanks for clearing up what I was asking, I wasn't sure if they even were sellers just due to the fact that I recognized a few of the names as legit players. The sad truth still remains that sellers will be back, SE will wait 2 years AGAIN to do something about it, and when they do, prices will agian skyrocket. My solution would be to make certain items such as leaping boots Ex. Though I know this won't work because what about the people who paid their 500k for them? They'd get the shaft bc they couldn't sell em back for a profit or to break even. Then again there's other sellers who just camp regular mobs for reasonably priced drops such as Leeches and Crawlers in Pashow and the occasional Goobbue for the luck of some cuttings.
 
Jooooo used to be one of the gil sellers that camped Beadeaux 24/7 with Mimibaby, Xiaowhatever, etc. He must have slipped through the cracks somehow since the Beadeaux people were banned.

Last night I was farming Meat Maggots where mee deggi spawns. I was chassing Mengder every where. She was doing invisible and such but i had her locked on . I belive they hate my guts now. :twisted:
 
I was there to see that. My friend Gawyn and I were trying to beat Avgirl and Mengder to all the claims. Avgirl seems to know what she's doing, but Mengder just took up space. We ended up getting some Impact Knuckles eventually, but it was still a good time none-the-less. I think if I start camping nm's religiously, I'll level a job that can claim on the run. Stun just isn't doing it for me as a blm/whm.
