Coming out this year in Japan. When is US release? Dunno. But check this shit out.

You can get a version to play on your PS3s off the Japanese store. I started downloading it but I won't be able to see how it looks on my TV until I get home in a few hours.

Wow this game looks cool. @_@

Ya here's the old trailer, by the way.

Sony wanted it as a launch title but Level 5 wanted to make it a huge 50-60 hour long game instead.

It's been confirmed there's an online component to this game, so I'm going to guess either co-op mode or maybe some battle arena or something, not sure.

Hoping it is as good as it looks. Could be great game.

I remember seeing the original trailer back at school when I had broadband (I hate AOL ><) and it was jaw dropping. If the game is half as good when it comes out as what I remember, I'll pick the game up the day it releases.

US still lacks a release date likely because they haven't decided if they even want to release it here.

No, it's coming, they just haven't decided when, after it releases in Japan in December a worldwide localization release will follow shortly after. Plus Sony's publishing it, it'll release here.
And if you don't want to wait, the game's supposedly going to offer both English and Japanese full voice-overs, and the PS3 is region-free so can just import it in December.

Which Level 5 title hasn't been released in NA? Dark Cloud 1/2 were, Rogue Galaxy was(the JP Director's Cut version), Jeanne d'Arc for PSP is coming next month, Dragon Quest VIII was(course published by SE), DQIX will be(but published by SE), the Professor Layton titles(self-published by Level-5), an original IP by Level 5 for the DS are also going to be releasing in NA.

Only title that hasn't is True Fantasy Online for the original Xbox, particularly because the game itself never saw the light of day cause Level 5 and Microsoft had a lot of disagreements and it got canned, and Level 5 pretty much said they were done working with Microsoft.

I'm digging the Shadow of the Colossus vibes from White Knight Story, which gets me extremely excited to see what Fumito Ueda will be able to do with the PS3. He's the guy behind ICO and SotC.
I do love me some Level 5 though, so White Knight Story should be great.

that game is jaw-dropping. i can't wait. I just might order the japanese version if the english vocalization is true. ^^

[Antor]

Yay, now when people come over I'll get called a fag for actually like hearing things spoken in my language, regardless of if the Japanese "sounds right." :O Looking forward to this.

Someone find me a MP3 of that music.
