Incidentally, a certain impetuous summoner, looking for a way to accomplish the arduous, onerous task of defeating Maat, called on Fenrir to read his fortune for the New Year. Unfortunately for him, Fenrir refused to listen, and ran outside of town instead!

Won't you lend the poor summoner a hand and help him catch Fenrir if you see him?

Fenrir claims that he just wanted to teach the inconsiderate little summoner a lesson, but apparently the avatar does plan to forgive him.

I'm looking into this at the moment to see what the hell it is. They don't give much info with this one, like what cities it's taking place in, how to do it, etc.
 
Sounds cool. We get too chase Fenrir around the starting areas maybe lol. I just hope it does not suck like the x-mas event.

I don't like this card thing... and the robe is hideous...

I still have a soft spot for Azimuth Circles back in the summer. :)
 
Saw a summoner NPC and Fenrir at Buburimu Peninsula like otw to BibikiBay

I never found out what to do. I was going to set out and check it all out, but I only had a few minutes. Then I had to go to work. If anyone finds out what you have to do and any rewards you might get, post them here please.
 
I was soloing in Konschtat, ran into the "w/e Fenrir" tried trading random crap to him, pots, crystals, didn't do anything, but a taru SMN NPC that was following him cast enthunder on me (which lasted like 2min) and then shell(which also lasted 2min) after I traded some random crap to him, if that's all this event gives it's not really gonna be worth it to bother, and from what I hear last years that's all it does.
 
Just trade the Summoners something (like a crystal). Sometimes you'll get random status effects or you can get a new year's gift that gives the Fishing enhancement. It's the same as every other New Years event.
 
Ya not really worth it, didn't these previous New years events give the costume belts? Or was that another event?
 
Spent the last hour trading anything I could cheaply to the summoners...

So far all I've gotten is Shock Spikes and Enthunder.


Edit:

Seems trading an item to the little blue femaly summoner gives me Enthunder, while trading the item to the summoner in AF gives me Shock Spikes. Might just be a coincidence. ^^;
