New Zelda Delayed

...That's bullshit. This is like the one thing I was looking forward to this year.

This has to be some sort of sick joke, I am now going to go into a state of denial till the game comes out.

I sort of saw it coming. From reading articles, it seemed as if they still had a lot to do. And from now, it'd only be about four months until release. While I am upset about it, I'd rather them take time and make it better than if they were to rush it out for the holiday release date.

So I guess my most anticipated game of the year is now next year. I need to find a game for this year. :(

NOOOOOOOOO

Financialy speaking, realeasing any game in the spring, could mean game suicide. Missing out on the holiday season is sure to hurt them, I hope not too much though. :(

Where fort art thou Zelda?

That does really suck, but they mentioned the delay will let them put in more levels. I'd rather wait so I can play those new levels.

I guess it really is possible to make what seemed to be perfect even better ^^

I rather have it delayed then release a shitty game. Personally i loved Wind waker, and i hope this new zelda tops WW.

Well, there was still Resident Evil 4 released way back in January.

Delay = Longer wait + Better game.

Yeah, it's already been announced that they're going to add to the game because of the delay. It was done, just not polished. So it's kind of a "We're sorry for delaying it, here's a bonus" deal.

Yeah, but I didn't really anticipate that much. I had just gotten a GCN just about a month before, and I didn't even know it was coming out so soon. So in a way, I wasn't anticipating it. I love the RE series though.

As for an anticipated game for 2005, I think either Half-Life 2: Aftermath and Day of Defeat: Source for the Source engine, or We Love Katamari.

And speaking of Half-Life 2, at least this isn't turning out like it. "The game will be released on September 31st, 2003." *October 1st passes* "Sorry, because we were hacked, we're reworking the source code. Expect it during the holiday season." *2004 begins* "It'll come out sometime." And November 14th, 2004, it is finally released. At least they're telling us ahead of time instead of letting the date go past and let out a "Whoops".

That comes out this year!? I found something else to look forward to.

Kingdome Hearts 2 can help you if you looking for a good game I think it was slated for a november release.

I wouldn't put it past Nintendo to delay delay delay until it's a Revolution launch title, because damned if anyone's going to buy that console otherwise.

What? and base the sucess of the console on a single game? Thats never worked before.

*someone walks up and whispers in ear*

What does the X-Box have to do with this?

Actually, I was going to get Revolution, whether they have this as a launch title or not. Making Zelda a launch title would just boost their sales. I don't think they're doing that anyways, since I believe the Revolution is coming out next holiday season.
