Newb XBL question

[alanon]

I got my Xbox360 about a year ago, because I wanted to try playing FFXI from the comfort of my couch. I created an account and gamer profile at that time. I haven't used it in almost a year. In fact, I don't really use my 360 much. I have 3 games total: MarvelUA, Forza2, and Halo3. Now I am trying to get on Xbox live (I think I got that all set now), but apparently I have been playing all these games as "Player" and so all of my achievements are not on my XBL account. Is there a way to transfer them?

Did you ever actually make an xbox live account before? If not then when you make your account it should change the name you have been using which is Player to whatever you make your gamertag. This will save them all onto your gamertag online.

If you also never made your xbl gold account you will have a one month free trial of the gold.

Jereme summed it up, though.
