Hello all. I've just bought FFXI for the first time. After avoiding it all these years due personal dissagreeance with paying large sums of money for a game that I have to pay again monthly for, I finally decided to forego my prior reservations when I found the Vanadiel collection for $20 with 30 days free.

Heck, cant beat that... all expansions and free gametime. Dirt Cheap.

So Here I am... ALways been a fan of the FF series since ff4(2 in the us) came out, I've thus always been curious about this one., what its like and the sort. So far I think I might find it quite cozy in this gameworld. I just need to actually *meet* some people first.

I've been treated QUITE well on the server thusfar ;D, but it seems that people are *sparse* :(

Perhaps my views of MMO's are spoiled by seeing friends play WOW and how jam-packed those servers always are, but yeah... I see a person every now and then and it feels somewhat desolate here on FFXI. Perhaps im just loggin in at bad times?

Anyways, I just wanted to say Hi to my fellow quetzalcoatl-ians!

If anyone wants to take a complete newbie under their wing, I would be mighty grateful ;D

Yeah actually I would definately appreciate that. A Linkshell would definately take the sparse feeling away a good bit :)

I'll send you a tell when I'm on tomorrow night (if you're on). Things are usually sparse in the main cities these days, with mostly everyone being in Aht Urgan.

Thank you all for your replies. I haven't had a real chance to play FFXI since the night I posted this, but I get off work tomarrow (today?) at around 5-6ish pacific time. If anyone is on around then, I don't beleive I'll be goin anywhere else but vanadiel ;P

So yeah, here's to meeting new folks!
