NFL PLayoffs are here... PLace your Bets.

We haven't won a Superbowl since 1985. We are definitely due. OMG, that was just a rockin' season. I can remember watching all those games like it was yesterday. Jim McMahon, Walter Payton, The Fridge, Butler and so many others. It was just awesome.

NFC: I love the seahawks, but theyre choke artists, theyve proven it time and time again. Also count out WSH, NYG, and TB. All are {Too Weak}

That leaves a revitalized Chicago team against a bipolar Carolina team. Tough pick but id have to take the Panthers.

AFC: Bengals arent even a favorite at home this week against my Steelers, and theyre on a downfall. Jacksonville isnt as good as their record shows, nor is Denver imho. New England is hot, but injured corners will hurt them and they havent stopped the run all year (see Larry Johnson, L.T., and Edgerin James to name a few). I dont think any team has a chance at beatin Indy, but as they say "Any given sunday" (or saturday if youre in the playoffs :P )

Pittsburgh Steelers - 27
Carolina Panthers - 23

Bonus: Ben Roethlisberger and Jerome Bettis Co-MVP (Superbowls in Detroit, the Bus's home town)

since this is one of the only football threads on this board...I just wanted to say: FUCK YOU PENN STATE AND FSU! MY GOD YOU SUCK. That was the worst display of football I have ever seen, I hope both teams are thrown in a ditch and shot, that third quarter made me hate football, total combined yards of like 60?? And the defenses were not anything amazing. I can't believe Penn State was the third ranked team in the nation, I'm disgusted at college football. No wonder the only game anyone gives a shit about is the Texas v. USC game.

Yes, agreed some very shitty calls. But, if the world is in favor of you, you get lots of shit calls in your favor and even a fumble to keep your dreams alive and you STILL cant pull off a win.....do you really have the right to win?

I know you all love them, thats what was season was about, 'Colts are the best'.(at least it wanst the pats.) Yes, I think the Colt are a good team, 13-0 isnt easy and Manning is still a really good QB. But, when you are the 10 point fav. and you get all the help you can to win, but loose. YOu dont have the right to goto all the way.

GO STEELERS!!!

Oh yeah, the NFC really isnt good at all. Seahawks will make it, but come on, that conferance isnt that good at all. AFC>NFC

Riiiiight. Fuck the colts...

You cant call it a "Comeback" when they never actually "Came back". A comeback is if they would have made that field goal to tie the game, but alas, Vanderjagt is a choke artist like the rest of that team. I pray edge leaves town, wayne seeks better pay elsewhere as a #1 reciever (See: New York Jets), and Peyton is repromanded for throwing the O-line under the bus in last nights press-confrence.

Fuck you Indy, and suck-my-balllls
