I apologize ahead of time if this flame isn’t up to the usual standards of the flameboard. It’s my first. 
It also turned out to be really long. Sorry.
Yesterday, I attempted to help a few friends get the sky pass. Doing ZM-5 is deffinately one of my least favorite things to help with. WAY too much running around. Regardless, I’m always happy to help. So, I join in on an alliance doing all the NMs except for Ifrit’s Cauldron (/em shudders at the mention of that hellish place).
I notice that a mithra thief by the name of Nibble is in the other party. Hmm. That name sounds familiar. I couldn’t place it, so I promptly forgot about it. Some of the alliance still hasn’t signed on yet. Bored, the rest decide to go out to Sanctuary and mess around while we waited. Finally, the rest of the alliance shows up and starts heading by chocobo from Jeuno. We begin to make our way to the headstone to await their arrival. Then it happens. Nibble does something monumentally foolish. And suddenly, I remember her.
Flashback a few months ago to a session of Coffer key hunting in Castle Oz. We had almost a full alliance and were slowly heading up stairs. Nibble is in one of the parties and is in the lead. BAM! She gets aggro and proceeds to head downstairs trailing a large number of yagudo behind her. Luckily, the alliance makes it out before too many die. She didn’t know they would aggro. Understandable. Happens to everyone. *grumble*dumbass*grumble* We make our way back up with the warning that yagudo are sight aggro and absolutely DO NOT STEP NEAR THE LEECHES! They are sound and since they are easily avoidable, no need in sneaking a full alliance over it. We make our way past that room when suddenly, Nibble starts losing hit points. She walked right past the leeches and unsurprisingly, they began to attack her. Instead of dying, she drags all of them and the yagudo in the room to the rest of the alliance. At her death (in the middle of the alliance) the leeches turn on the others and 9 more die. :shock:
Back to yesterday and her new idiocy. She and 2 others make it to the stone first with the rest, slowly making their way over. She immediately clicks on the stone spawning the NM. Now, you’d think a thief would know enough to die on a bad pull. What do you think this paragon of thief-dom did? She uses flee and drags it to the few that had just arrived. Death. 6 die before we finally manage to kill it. The final person from the alliance just showing up on chocobo.
Fast forward to the NM in Cape Terrigan. She, along with 6 others make it there first and begin to wait for the few that hadn’t arrived yet. Immediately, she clicks on the headstone. Luckily, (for the poor saps that were with her) she didn’t click yes spawning the NM. All I could think at the time is how did such a complete lackwit manage not to kill herself by swallowing her own tongue? :roll:
Fast forward to the NM in Behemoths Domain. The 2 NMs are spawned and one is pulled. The first is killed with the pseudo-tank (lvl 73 monk) down to about 100 hit points and the white mage dead. Suddenly, “someone” pulls the other. 2 more deaths before the second one is killed. Funny side note to that one, one of the melee says they refuse to tank when the monk went down. Quick check, nothing but the mages and a few /nin were left alive. He was the only one with voke.
I had to chuckle a bit when I saw that.
So, to summarize in case you just skipped right through. Nibble is a complete and utter moron and should be avoided at all costs. She is a exp sink and will probably get you killed. She didn’t seem mean. Just stupid. Really, really stupid.
