Well, this weekend I made some pretty good progress. I hit 50 in a party yesterday and got to trade in my G1 items Darklion and Ukyia got me last week. Saturday night I saw a shout for 5-1. I hit up swishiee and Hempkitten who both needed it, and we took off. After Swishiee took off to trio shadowlord, I called on my buddy Corvinus who brought his NIN up to destroy SL.
Sunday I was rolling through Konchstat on my way to unlock DRK (ya man!!!) when I see this whore Stray Mary who I've killed 98342374753 times with no drop. I still had my Chaosbringer on so it took about 5 min, but i still killed the bitch and she gave up Mary's Horn.
Later Sunday night my buddy Mezmerize was with a friend of his in Beadeaux goofing around and let me come along so I could get a coffer key there, and I did after like 5 min at camp.
After hitting 50 last night I flagged AF2 and AF hands, also grabbed my Beadeaux key and headed out there. At the last spawn my coffer was sitting there so I put the key in and got my legs. I went back to Jeuno and did a shout for AF2 help and my boy Magno answered the call. We went to Castle Oztroja and beat down the fish.
Then he asked what keys I needed and we were off to Garlaige Citadel. While I was waiting on him to show up, I saw a new group of GS leveling so I started skilling up MY GS. I then did a say "Gil sellers leave) and a WAR/NIN named Elola showed up and said "Nice" then proceeded to voke the bat that had just popped. The GS watched us for like 10 min killing their xp mobs. Mags finally showed up and we went over to a weapon, 1 mob, 1 kill, 1 key.
We took off to sandy to head up Castle Zhavl (after a tele attempt turned up evidence that I hadn't gotten the crystal when I went up there to get rank 6) and Mags invited a friend of his, Renee. After 1 eye, and 2 demons I had a key (Mags' TH3 is fully calibrated) and we were off to The Eldieme Necropolis. My buddy Oldsmobeast and I had tried this one a few days earlier, but sleepga and -ga happens and I had to eat a death LOL.
This one actually took a while, we got like a few chain 4's and a chain 5, before I asked Mags to recalibrate his TH. A couple of fights later (started to fade out a bit, it was like 4AM) I see the text "It's recalibrated" and sure enough there was a key in the treasure pool.
So next step is findind coffers for all of these places and storing my AF till I can actually wear it.
