Currently lvl 54 Nin, now in terms of EXP Fuma VS Af booties? Do I want that 3% haste or would the AGI+ be better? Hard choice between evasion and hitting faster.
 
i wear my AF feet and have no trouble what-so-ever keeling my shadows up and hitting effectivly. shadow castnig is what most nin's wear the fuma feet for really. as far as i can tell anyway.

i will say this. haste, to me, does more then enough when i need my casting times ready. but if your whm or rdm cant seem to keep haste on you then i would wear the fumas. thus far i havent had that problem so my AF feet are always on.

I don't play NIN, so likely you'll get better responses from those who have played it but from my observations of playing with my bf Xean who is now NIN 55, he uses Fuma and tries to keep his gear focused on Haste and Evasion (with emnity gear macroed in for provoke)

As a result, he has virtually no problem casting his shadows and I can sit for about 30 minutes without having to toss a cure his way as long as I keep haste on him (except for instances where the mob double attacks, then uses a special attack and attacks right away again), which pretty much helps the xp/hr because there's no down time.

So i'd probably vote for the fuma.
 
If you got swift belt go Fumas all the way. If you don't, probably doesn't make that much of a difference. I didn't really start using haste gear till 72 (I think) when some more became available.

Edit: Prior to me quitting, I had NIN up to 62 and used Fumas. When I got my char back, I was kinda broke and went with AF for a while. I would have used Fuma's if I had them. Since you probably have the income to get them, don't sell yourself short as "good enough" when Fumas will make you better. While it is true alone they aren't that hot, 4 agi is even less hot.

I only use af feet when I want to run fast, doesnt seem like that agi+ would do too much of a difference.
 
If you have a good whm that keeps you hasted you can do with AF, if he'she sucks go with Fumas. Also remember Quu Dommi now drops the Rare/ex version of these boots so they are free to any one that has the time to camp for them.
 
4 agi isnt really going to do shit. As meeze said, neither alone is really going to do much, but that 4 agi will do even less than that 3% haste. If you are short on cash or somthing, AF will suffice, but if its a choice between the two, its fuma.

Just as a note, you're melee damage is about to pcik up right around 60, as new gear and WS's become available.

agility helps before 60 :o but after.... hmm bout as useful as charisma on a drk

one thing i did pick up is you start loosin ni: wheel effectivness 55+, got yelled at a few times in parties for spell spammin and doing jack :nono: unless you can make a place for your self as nin/blm may aswell save those ni spells for CoP or something

start building your haste and DoT gear because soon dodging is going to become a thing of the past and mobs will pretty much hit every shadow you have. even with SH+1 and agi+20 @level 60+, crawlers hit me every single time.

dual weild enhancements are good to, if anything bypass the SH and go with AF body, swift belt and fuma, then worry about acc and att.

haste is your friend
