Any advice would be coo, so as long as it's useful.

Melee until shadows down.

Jubaku

Melee until he blows up.

Survive Blow Up.

It's pretty straight forward. I used DD setup and had him down in under a minute. Key is surviving Mijin.

He is really really easy at lvl 70. NIN gets alot of good equipment like O hat and fudo x2 which makes the fight pretty easy. With normal lvl 70 TPing gear I was able to evade most attacks. Another thing to make it easy is bring the opo-opo necklace and get some TP and do a blade:jin ->blade:jin using icarus wing. That will probably take almost half his life... and last note bring an fast/strong potion incase he does mijin at high hp.

this is how I did it

Killed at 66. Was a walk in the park.

I didn't sleep TP. I had a full Evasion set and a macro for DD gear on the WS.

Pulled with a Ni element in order to wipe a shadow and waited near the steps for him to approach. If he'd stop to cast a debuff, I'd drop another Ni element to strip another shadow. After that we'd be meleeing.

Maat is a lost cause when it comes to blink tanking. Mob AI does not know to swap ichi and ni. Once he runs out, he won't have shadows for a while. You can debuff him easily while keeping your shadows up.

-He has piss poor accuracy.
-With debuffs he's even more of a joke.
-His mijin gakure did around 5-600 damage. Nothing to even worry about.
-I kept a TP Wing with me so once I hit 100% I could WS > Wing > WS.
(Unluckily I had Blade Chi macro'd from a CoP event a couple hours prior and forgot to switch back. So I blade Chi'd him twice. And only missed getting the record by about 12 seconds.)

It's a very easy fight, and if you're setup with a good evasion gearswap and a nice rounded DD set for your Weapon Skills. He'll go down without any trouble. Whatever you do, don't go into the fight believing he's going to Mijin Gakure and Debuff you all over the place. None of it should really land.

Last I remember you could reraise, so in theory that would be possible. However, as everyone has mentioned, it should be far from necessary if you are preparing right.

Though you get no weakness from reraise after using Mijin Gakure, you won't have a lot of hp when you get up, so if you do it, you should at least pull him to a place you won't get aggro so you'll have time to get shadows up and possibly get your HP up, All of that should take a lot of time, so it might not be worth the trouble though.

I dont think he agros if you die and get back up
