Nine inch nails is haveing a show in Madison square garden Nov. 3rd Here I saved $200 to get tickets I get to the ticket place early and made 3rd in line, 10 am rolled around the tickets went up for sale. The guy who was first was lucky to get his tickets, after that they were sold out, pissed me off.

The reason is I was reading later that you have these assholes who buy loads of tickets and sell them for outragous prices, just one big scam. And this has been a common practice for a awhile now not with just Nine Inch nails but any of your favorite band or artist. I don't have $1000 to pay for these tickets nor do i want to bid on Ebay for them. serously there needs to be new laws made on ticket sales so that everyone can get a far shot at buying tickets.

At least you live in a city where you have the opporitunity to see a NIN show . . . THREE CANADIAN DATES!!!

THREE!!!

I'd like to stricken my previous statement from the record.

A little birdie just whispered something in my ear that made me a happy boy

Same thing happpened for the show in Chicago, which would have been the closest concert to where I'm living (for the next 2 weeks anyway >_>). I don't even know if they're going anywhere near Richmond VA for me to have the opportunity to see them there. Guess I'll just have to sit back this time, and count my blessings that I've already seen them 4 times, heh.

I got to see the Self Destruct tour in 95 and The Fragile tour in 2001. Going to see them in Seattle. :P Try winning some contests on the radio! That's about the only way you can get some tix now without paying out the ass... :(

The money people pay to see these shitty pop/electro/nu metal/bs bands...so saddening

I wasn't trying to make this a biased post against NIN, Just trying to make a point of whats going on with the ticket sales for any band/artist you like. (fyi there industral)

I would contest NIN being industrial, they're a pop group, just a damn good pop group.

Oh and Strid . . .

you're off the 14 mark by a fair margin, if I hadn't just woken up I would have pointed out you are acting like a dipshit with a lot more poise.

:D

Pop is Britany spears and jessica simpson, Industrial is Nine inch nails and skinny puppy

From my standpoint popular music in its entirety falls under the category of pop . . .

but I can agree the NIN do have their roots in industrial, right from self admittingly ripping off Puppy's Dig It

I consider NIN like a lil brother(even though they are more famous KMFDM did it first) , if you will, to KMFDM potting them mostly industrial with pop style vocals.

I don't know why the retal on my comment Dirg. I don't think you get what I was saying so here... Concerts shouldn't cost so damn much. That's a LOT of money to see a band. Most bands you can go see for 10-20 bucks. But these MTV bands get all the glamore and whatnot and overcharge their fans to see them perform. I don't like that. It shows money > music to them. But hey, too each their own in musical taste etc. I wasn't trying to say you guys are idiots for liking them or anything just I can't believe those bands get away with charging so much for a friggen ticket to a 45min show. Hopefully you get it now.

that's fair Strid, unfortunately the ticket price is based on the venue and the promoter, not so much the band.

On the note of KMFDM I saw them last year and really wasn't all that impressed.
:?

I think the quality of kmfdm and thier sound changed for the worse after "ATTAK"
