i helped them every bit as much as they helped me and honestly more or my friends were just as well off as i was. and fuck the community, the average final fantasy player is too dumb to comprehend the game (or in some cases they are just plain retarded; see Myrrh) why should i care what they think of my selling my account and gil?

I don't see how me valuing friendship makes me a retard but I won't disagree with you that a large part of the server is fucking retarded but I was never talking about the retards. If you can't see how selling something you and your friends worked together on is a bad thing then you truly are a fucking moron.
 
@Dowzer: They are both friends, linkshell-mates, and server hoppers. They don't care about Quetz and this topic was made mockingly.

Considering Arros, 9627, knows the people he was closest to in-game, IRL, im sure they don't mind him selling his things for money. But i don't quite understand how selling your account is a "fuck you" to your friends if you are quitting one way or another.
 
Because QCDN is a collection of internet white knights, their pride and glory on the internet is their biggest concern.
 
if he obtained everything legitimatly threw ls rules and such, his crafting was his own and mission status were mutual acomplishments threw a group. i mean, it sucks that the people spent time obtaining this gear for him, but every quits someday. Two people gaining from the items is far from the best method of dealing with the assets. Could have just bazared everything for 1 gil in whitegate, or give everything to his linkshell. Somewhat selfish, but no one is perfect, big deal.

Selling the gil makes him as bad as the rmt who do it for a living. He has helped to perpetuate the rmt issue by doing it. Also because he sold gil, the poor bastard who buys the account is now flagged for rmt activities. So he has helped to fuck over not one, but two players in the game. Even though they are cheating bastards for 1. buying the gil and 2. buying the account. 3. it puts another Usless noob level 75 into YOUR endgame.
I do feel a little sorry for the idiot who bought the account. Can you imagine it, paying 300-500 for an account, then getting banned for the rmt activites of the previous owner. Not only fucked ingame, but fucked out of the RL $$$ spent on buying a now useless account. As for the friends aspect, one could be hopeful he deleted his FL prior to the sale and recommended the new owner change servers. Last player that I knew of who had bought an account was kicked out of almost every party he was in because SOMEONE always knew he was a bought account.

I don't think we need the whole arguement back and forth again from the Sanoske thread, but if i can make 500+ dollars off a video game i'm done with i'd take it.
 
Nah, I'm no White Knight, I MPK'd the shit out of a lotta people and ended up losing the account. (People like you, CFG are no different.)

I hold onto two accounts that my friends left me, I could sell them if I really needed to. Sometimes (rarely) I'll duo with them, but for the most part, I keep them because when they stop by, sometimes we'll hit up a BC run like Up in Arms.
 
Keryan forgot to read the first couple pages and should feel very bad.

if you did then maybe you skimmed over my post about GMs not being able to act on anyhitng outside the game itself. AKA they would have to catch me red handed.
