Ninja AF3

Hi, I just had a quick question about this quest.

I hear it can be done with sneak pull, but also that lots of people have tried and failed at this. I just wanted to know if it can be done, and how you do it.

yes you can sneak pull and just kill one if you kill it really slow. i went and solo'd mine at 66 and killed them all so fast oh it was funny lol. (dont forget my soloing involves 2 other characters )

you got to close is all. you have to stand as far away and shoot them or throw a rock at them, or carby pull.

They all 3 aggroed me smart ass like I said.

here is how you pop and pull this AF3 fight.

1. you sneak the person doing the quest!!
2. they pop the monsters and run back OMG WITH NO AGRO!!
3. You stand at the maximum distance you can get from them at the side of the bard (which is the east side of them i belive).
4. shoot, voke, throw, carby pull the one closest to you at maxium distance get hate.
5. lil one follow like a monkey you kill it and return to step 3 till all 3 are dead or they despawn.

NOTE you only have to kill one this way, but if you have time you can kill them all.

Popped an oil

got beat the hell up because they aggroed me

Like I said before, I think SE patched it.

I did it at 58 with just my NPC but I coulda soloed it. Wait til nighttime and wear your Ninja Hakama for the extra Eva. I ate a Jack'o'Lantern and I barely got hit. My NPC only Cure III me one time. I elemental Ni nuked it to death, and hit it with Shuriken.

I got mobbed trying to stand at max distance and hit it with a Shuriken. I had to sub SMN and come back.

if the mobs attacked you right when you poped it you did something wrong eulore. they aren't vis agro mobs only sound.

keep in mind i didn't do my af till about 66ish so that was only like ill say max 2months ago. I dont think they would of patched it after all this time and no one say anything about not being able to sneak pop anymore.

did you forget the gobs around it agro to vis? maybe you were tolow and you got agro from a gob while poping whichdroped your sneak infront of them then you got mobed and raped?

I was 75pld/nin, the gobs didn't aggro me.

then there is only one way to find out and that is for me to go test it.

I made a post in event scheduling to take care of it for anyone. So as soon as i get a poper i can see if your theory is true or if there is something else that happend that maybe even your unaware happend.

Yea the sneak oil thing doesn't work.... or it didnt for me I tried solo like 5 times, every time I got raped because sneak doesnt work, you cant say gobs aggrod me because I killed them all. So passions.. what sir did I do wrong?

dont know i'm going to find out though. this has me irked. i'm still having a bad day from yesterdays bad day.

my baggie is all gone and i'm pheening.

edit: maybe the OP can help me solve this and let me take him to kill it lol. I can solo each mob with each character if sneak trick doesn' work anymore. but i want to find out because this would be news to me. I solo a lot of af3 and knowing this will help me prepare for future fights.

Sneak oil doesn't work. in the DRG AF3 fight a lot of people commented sneak oil not working, but sneak spell did. DRG AF3 involves popping 2 shadows, which aggro to sound and low HP. but people who have done it said the sneak oil didn't work, while sneak did, at 100% HP.
