Its being unveiled at TGS 2007! and unless you have been living under a rock, that information was leaked much earlier than planned with Screenshots to boot.
The game is INSANLEY gory, includes dismemberment and Decapitation.
Finally the true sequel to ninja gaiden!

haha, the colours in those screenshots reminds me of Elfen Lied, only with ninjas XD

That looks ridiculously win. It looks farther along then i thought it would, they must have been working on it while working on sigma. This looks like a def. pick up. Those screens are amazing.

I hope they mention something about DoA:CC too and DoA 5. Team ninja makes some baller games.

I cannot wait for this game. I'm going to be absolutely terrible at it and repeatedly get my ass handed to me, but it's going to be great regardless.

This is what i've been waiting to see. Because Sigma has a nicer look, i don't think none of those images for Ninja Gaiden 2 are actual in game shots. I think it's conceptual art, and the actual release of Gaiden 2 on the 360 will look better.

If you can cut limbs from enemies, aiming for the arm he's holding his weapon 1st will be a great strategy plan when fighting. Looks great so far and it looks like he can use Rachel's weapon now. ^^

Demo looks beautiful, but will probably have the same ol' "i've done this for the whole game now..." fighting style. I'll definitely rent it, but i'll be wary to buy it.

Yeah. I have Sigma but kinda gave up at the end (after you fight that demon that watches you battle then challanges you). I'm kinda interested in this but playing through Sigma has reminded me of why I never finished Ninja Gaiden on the Xbox and won't likely finish Ninja Gaiden 2 when it comes out.

I've never seen a demo that has a player that is actually good at playing Ninja Gaiden. If this is anything like Ninja Gaiden 1, then they made the greatest action game again, but it dosn't show from the looks of it.

Looks like they took out the evasive roll technique for what appears to be an evasive dashing technique, which is sad. Not too thrilled about this one so far, and i'm a Ninja Gaiden freak.

Well in this video, they're comparing a closed off dojo to an open outdoor scene.

Graphically that footage of NG2 can't match Sigma yet, The textures are basic, Ryu is lacking a shadow, the shadows they do have in the scenes are a bit hard eged, and action wise that dashing move sucks (It appears to demote the evasiveness), and they could have displayed the game being played with a finer weapon. The speedline effect in the weapon swing looks inferior in the NG2. boath players sucked but there was more action happening in that tiny dojo with the lunar and the classic and improved rolling evasion techniques in the Sigma.

I think Sigma's Pleasure street would have been a better comparrison, but still it's unfair to compare unfinished work to a game that has been fine tuned and released to the market 3 times over and better than it's last.

I don't understand why they always advertize Ninja Gaiden with amatures playing it, it's no wonder people think the button mashing God of War is the greatest action game. They never advertize the game being played like this.

Your main rival looks bas ass ;) Thats a sure seller right there.

Nothing new there. Except the announcement of true images of Ninja Gaiden 2 coming in December.

The reason why they won't implement Multiplayer with Ninja Gaiden is for the advanced player, it would lead to matches where one person would eventaully give up after a really long match.

I know, i just like the "* There’s a rival super ninja who’s supposed to “look bad ass” according to Itagaki"

Ninja Gaiden is fine without multiplayer. Not all games need it, and would do it very well anyway. The only thing I could see working is co-op, and probably offline co-op. The game's just too hard and requires too fast reaction.
