Ok, Ive been playing melee classes since March 22. War,Monk,Ranger and now Ninja so I havent got the slightest clue on how to magic burst with my elemental ninja tools. I've been reading that Ninja can magic burst of their very own TP attacks. Can someone post me information on which TP attack bursts with a specific ninja tool. So far I've been only using Kuryami, Hujo, and Utsemi and been practicing on using other elementals but I just dont get it. Help me please.

Ranger 49, Warrior 30, Monk 16, Ninja 25

Also if anyone has any information on MB on specific combos that would be great.

Thanks

I don't know the names of the spells unfortunately, so you'll have to go to some sight to get that. But, the level 15 scrolls are the ones you want. They're the ones like this.... does fire damage and make the mob weak to ice, does wind damage and makes the mob weak to earth.

Match up the damage type with the skillchain effect and you can burst them. It's not very effective until you get the Ni level spells. The Ichi's only burst for like ? 5 or 10 ?

So basically, I'm going to have to write down every Renkai effect then match the effect with a specific ninja tool, but what about doing solo chains...like doing blade rin then doing a MB. Dammit..i'm probably going to have to write a list down. I hate magic!!!

Yeah we understand it's too much for your Elvaan brain to handle. :)

i dont think, soloing you can MB...
But, you should know this stuff if your a melee, what every renkai's element it is, and stuff, and after awhile of reading the MB and renkai chart you could easily remember all of it

You can't solo MB unless you can execute a self Skillchain. Only samurai can self SC.

Thank you Villariel..since you are a high level ninja...I'll trust what you have said as truth and the other crap I read as crap....Hey, so do you recommend what I stated earlier writing down all the Renkai then matching the ninja tool. If thats a yes, then all my questions will be asked. And yeah Jebus, Im a dense blonde elf....I just know how to beat and kill things. Have fun sleeping with your SHEEP...baaaaaa, baaaaa.

And by the way, not just the lvl 15 ninjutsu can be MB'd. All spells, including debuffs like poison or blind, correspond to a different element, and can be bursted as such.

kurayami-darkness-same as blind
hojo-earth-same as slow
dokumori-water-same as poison
jubaku-ice-same as paralyze

I believe the advantage of MB'ing a debuff is that it is more likely to stick. I'm not sure if it will increase it's duration or power though.

It gets prohibitively expensive to carry all the ninja tools required to MB all elements. Ninja MB helps a little, but it doesn't add much to the overall damage.

Also I don't have enough room to carry all the ninja tools (even with 50 spaces). So I usually carry Shihei (for Utsusemi), Kaginawa (for Hojo ie Slow), Sairui-ran (for Kurayami ie Blind), Kagahori-ogi (for Huton ie Wind), and Tsuara (for Hyoton ie Ice)

When it comes to MB, I only do it with Distortion. I setup the MB with with Huton which lowers the mob's resistance to Ice, right before the SC. Then I MB with Hyoton. By casting Huton first, the BLM and your MB will get resisted less and may do more damage.

hey Vill, is the tools for the wind ninjutsu non-expensive? i was going to use Tsurara for Ice to keep hate because that one is very easy to make
(Ice crystal + Rock Salt + 2 Distilled Waters = 10 Tsurara)

Awesome...thank you for the info..Im going to apply your strategy to my game play. Thanks very much. If anyone else has more info, please submit.

Carrying all those ninja tools do suck up alot of inventory space, but after seeing your strategy, I'm going to save about 4 slots.

Kawahori-ogi, the tool to cast Huton (Wind) cost about 6k per stack of 99. If your have come clothcraft skills you can make your own.

Tsaura, the tool to cast Hyoton (Ice) is the cheapest to make. The skill cap to make Tsauras is Lv6 alchemy.

And to get hate, I usually put on emnity gear. The damage from ninjitsu is not very good. Unless you chain 3-4 together. For example Huton (Wind and lowers Ice resistance) > Hyoton (Ice and lowers Fire resistance) > Katon (Fire lowers Water resistance). Also, only after you have the Ni line of spells are Ninjitsu spells fast enough to cause enough hate.

Ninjitsu is really for debuffing.
