Anyone know if ninjustu enfeebling magic works the same way as normal spells, thus Hojo/Jubaku are MND based, Kurayami is INT based, or are they just solely affected by ninjustu skills?

A higher ninjustu skills is always good for sticking your enfeeblings, but I'm trying to figure out if your can maximize their potency by the boosting the corresponding stat(s) as well, e.g. better paralyze proc rate.

Any thought?

Upping Int helps power your nukes up a bit and as you said ninjustu skill does affect it. Haven't heard anything on mind though.

I know that INT is the strongest factor of Mijin Gakure along with hp and other modifiers

The way how nin nuke works is almost identical as elemental spells, higher ninjustu skills = less resist rate, more INT/MAB gears = more damage, that's why I'm thinking that nin enfeebling might follow the same magic system:

Slow-
It has been tested that MND directly affects the percentage of slow that the target receives. The more MND the greater the slow%. There may be a check against the enemy's MND.

Paralyze-
It is widely accepted (as accepted as 2+2=4) that the proc rate, or the amount of actual paralyzed actions, is directly affected by the MND of the caster. The more MND of the caster, the more often it procs. It may be checked against the target's MND value upon casting.

Blind-
It is rumored that the amount of accuracy that a mob loses is affected the the casters INT. I have not seen any evidence of this, and have never tested it. It would make sense that INT may directly affect Blind's potency, but a Blind that has a constant effect is possible as well. Testing this would be a little less than simple. I nor anyone I know has done so.

Go with INT boost. It helps alot.Learned this from bcnm40 and actually had a nin show up with alot of int gear once to a pt.I asked why and he had both gear(int gear and tanking gear) and showed me with tanking gear average spell wass like 50+ with int gear was like 100+.

I don't know much about offensive ninjutsu, but i do know that for RDM, I see a significant difference in the proc rates for Paralyze/Slow with stacked MND gear.

A little Magic Accuracy (even just a little, like what a grammary cape will give) will give you less resist rates (you might want to pick one up just to test for yourself). I suggest this because i know nins have issues with recast rates on some enfeebs.

Stack INT and MAB(for nukes) or MND, and if you resist more than you like, play with Ninjutsu+ and Magic Accuracy+ items.

For a fully effective set of ninjutsu enfeeb gear, you may be looking at entirely new sets of gear. Be choosy between space and efficiency.

It seems that the nin enfeebles follow the magic enfeebles based on your data.

From what i know regular spells

Slow- Your mnd vs mobs mnd slow effect is 15%-35%

Para- More mnd is believed to proc more para status

assuming what you said about blind it seems safe to say that they are the same system.

All except for tonko(invis spell right?) which is not random and 3 mins invis(ichi)

I do believe that the sneak/invis system IS influenced by MND too. Ever since I changed my gear for those spells to my mnd setup, I got either VERY long lasting times on them or they wear fast like the usual wal-mart sneaks, which can easily be recasted on the spot.

It made for MUCH more relaxing sky travel... I haven't bothered to buy oils for sky for a long time now.

It's not random. People know that HP and other modifiers such as int affect it.

HP yes INT people do not know its like the thing INT effects double attack
(yes you double attack more with that +6 int G axe but might have a hidden effect who knows)

In't does afffect MG. When I used it to warp after a party I checked a few times with int vs normal nin gear. Int increased the damage signifigantly.

If anything wouldnt that be AGI? Thats the only thing i've ever heard that might be effecting double attack. And if your talkin about the Demon's Axe... That has +6 Dark Magic, +6 INT and +6 STR +6... I'm 99% sure that was intended for the Dark Knight Great Axe weilding population...

Double Attack rate is only effected by +/enhances double attack gear. The +INT was only a rumor. If it was true, warrior would stack on +INT gear for the improved DA rate over STR easy.

and if it was int it would explain af1 head the +1int...

Strength affects songs. It obviously does because bard AF pants has strength on them.

Quit being retarded, STR only affects songs played with soul voice, everyone knows that.

I have always wondered, does DEX affect madrigal and prelude?

from my understanding, ninjutsu enfeebles doesn't work the same way as magic enfeebles.

As in, they do work the same way, just isn't affected by stats the same way. While magical enfeebles get stronger if you have more MND, ninjutsu enfeebles are always at a set%.

Although with INT and elmental ninjutsu, it is my understanding that INT and MAB gear increases te damage they do.

My NIN is only 37 though, so don't take my word for it <.<; that's just the way I've had it explained to me.

It has been my understanding that all +stats on AFs are meant solely for WS modifiers. Since warrior is basically the master of all weapons with a B rating or higher in all melee weapons besides hand-to-hand, katana and Geat Katana, this makes a little more sense for warrior to have a +INT stat. Similarly, DRK get +MND which is a secondary WS modifier for Guillotine, THF gets +INT for Energy Drain among many other odd +stats on AF that seem rather pointless.
