Nintendo Wii Press Conference

I hope they have some licensed games like the old NES Blaster Master and Bionic Commando. Give me the Sega Genesis version of Columns and I'll bliss out for hours.
I've read in some places that through some kind of legal maneuvering, there's a very good chance that every single, last NES game that was ever published with Nintendo's approval will be available for download with their "virtual" console system. If this is true, I can't imagine it being any different for their SNES and N64 offerings.

I've heard somewhere in the range of 1000 of the "best" Sega Genesis titles.

Oh, and by the way: this conference was like crack to me. I'm foaming at the mouth right now.

They also mentioned not only downloadable NES, SNES, and N64 games but old Sega games as well. I will own a Wii for that feature alone.

Chrono Trigger, Gunstar Heroes, Lufia II.. the list goes on. I'm really looking forward to this system.

QFT!

And cubswoo (and anyone else who is interested) They stated in some article somewhere that they are pushing to make it $200 maximum and lower if possible. You can find the link in the PS3 thread i believe.

I'll believe a price point when I hear it from Nintendo. Pretty disappointed they didn't reveal it today.

The best part is I can retired my GameCube for the better looking Wii! And then I'll have space on my shelf >.>;; I'm literally out of space. System Selector Pro takes up too much room.

Kotsu gives his gaming center a huge kiss.

What does the new PS3 controller look like anyways? I keep hearing that "Sony stole Nintendo's controller" and can't find it anywhere.

Anyways, Wii is interesting but I still would prolly only find one game enjoyable (Zelda Twilight Princess) and no others if they continue with their million Mario spin-off and such. (though, if they continue to make some fun RPGs for it like the Tales of [Some word here] games I think I'll have more fun games to play). These latest systems disappoint me though... they all fail to deliver to me in their own ways. PS3 is pretty much cost >.> Xbox 360 and Wii are gaming library :\ oh well.. guess I'll just not get any of the new systems until more games come out or prices drop

The PS3 controller looks like the PS2 controller only a little lighter (weight wise). It will not have a rumble pack. It will have a motion capacity though. You tilt it up or lean it left or right and it effects your gameplay. That is what they "stole".

and that's nothing new.. even before Nintendo implimented it in their system..

*coughs* Y HELO TER VIRTUAL REALITY!

PS3's controller is identical in appearance to classic DualShock but they stole Nintendo Wii's motion sensing capabilities.

Would be awesome if there Were Gameboy, some Sega CD and Saturn games on the Virtual Console. I miss my Magic Knight Rayearth(stolen)!

FFXIII is on the Wii? or was that the wrong link?

wrong link XD somewhere on that list there's a cool game I saw (well a few). Red Steel. Seems nice for FPS. Zelda will win too :P

Aye Wii looks like it might actually be able to compete with PC's for FPS. Assuming you can aim of course.
