NM Updates, HOLY....

Thanks to allakhazam.com and Vrtra(member) for posting this AMAZING information!

Please forgive me if this has been posted before.

-Apologies if this has already been posted before-

With that said, this is all the information I could obtain from various others about specific NM spawn/item drop updates. Little has been proven by myself, since I simply haven't had the chance to go out and do so yet. Thus, if you have any further information to add, by all means, do so!

Morion Worm - New spawn points. Unknown if it's still on a 15 minute clock though, nor if the item drop rate is the same. But new spawn points is verified.

Mee Deggi the Punisher - Spawn area has expanded to include the entire lower level around the platform now. Spawn time is still, apparently, the same.

Hoo Mjuu the Torrent - He will now spawn ANYWHERE within the H-10 perameter - possibly more. I can verify this because I was there earlier today and he spawned at the very edge of the cliff in H-10; far away from his usual spawning point.

Stroper Chyme - Not an NM I know, but important nontheless. His spawn time is now erratic and the spawn area is just as random. He can spawn pretty much ANYWHERE on the map now. In fact, wide screen might soon become your best friend for tracking him from now on. Also, the item drop rate seems to have drastically decreased. However, since I don't know the original drop rate, I cannot say for certain if this is true.

Argus - It has been said that now, the longer you are in the cave, the less chance you have of getting the drop from this NM. Somewhat similar to the new mining/harvesting nerf. This will definitely deal with the bots well, IMO. But for how long, remains uncertain.

One word, OMG! This is going to KILL the gilsellers at stroper because of his virtually MASSIVE spawn now!

Also, Deggi will be now much like lizzy and Hoo Mjuu because of the quite large room that the original platform is on.

If there is anyone in Giddeus that's level 40+ I never even bothered going in...me and palum did get the Emp once but he didn't drop.

I tend to hit hte NMs that don't spawn in one specific area, as I know I have no chance of getting them anyway. Skanks like Mary are more my speed...this update just kinda makes the others a little more realistic for me.

Eventhough I have shit luck with NMs....stupid Mary drop your stupid horn!! I want it to pay for my wedding you dirty skank!!

Here's a explanation on my viewpoint on this update:

What are the 2 main NMs gilsellers camp?

-Stroper Chyme
-Mee Deggi the Punisher

Now, which are the 2 that have been the most "nerfed"?

-Stroper Chyme
-Mee Deggi the Punisher

What do all the gilsellers use as subjob?

Warrior

What subjob is needed to provide widescan for these large spawn mobs?

Ranger

Now, unless they get a clue eventually and sub Ranger they will get little to no pops on stroper at all because of their sporadic room-to-room walk every 5 minutes.

Hehe, I have the patience of a 2 yr. old with A.D.D. when it comes to NM camping.... But how could you be at ALL of these NM camps 24/7 to verify that these people have never even been at one?

Do a /sea all of my name, you will probably find me in one of those places 90% of the time. I know a good amount of the "locals" at each camp with the exception of Stroper (fuck that NM wannabe). Further more, I know who dominates what spawn and which ones to stay away from, 9 times out of 10 they are JP and claim every thing in sight.
Im not going to get into "Waaah, teh Jps R fastr!!11 not fare!" but its true on these camps...

I was just asking, it seems everyone that has ever camped Lizzy for a half hour calls themselves "NM hunters" when thats all I have ever done to make gil so I guess im just being a cocky retard. My bad, i just kind of take it personal sometimes for some stupid reason when people who I dont know call themselves NM hunters. In my eyes there are 2 "types" of NM hunters:

1. The millionaires (success consistently, dedication)
2. The wannabes (camps VE as a BLM/WHM, runs around bugging everyone, talks to the LS about how they were "this close" :roll: )

Like I said, I know im coming off like im the best on the server, which im not. Hell there are 2 here alone that i can think of who have netted more than me (and no, the guy that got a freak claim and an assisted PCC drop isnt one of them). But I have made a very nice living off of it, and am quick to call out the posers. Lol no one even called themselves NM hunters in this thread, but I decided to use this as a venue to rant about something I have been irritated with for awhile with all the noobs thinking they are hot stuff because they claimed Tom Tit Tat once.....

Not a personal attack but Im sure you get the gist of it, it would be like me just starting a craft and getting 5 skill up points and walking around saying "Im a goldsmither" sigh....

It WAS a freak accident, and I sure would like to know how much you plan on giving to the THF who GAVE you Treasure Hunter 2 to help that puppy drop....if it were not for him and the campers being AFK it would not have happened. But it did, and I paid up, which I should have thought about before I did. But yet look at how you are still acting....

So Decidence, how much will you pay that THF when you finally DO sell that PCC? I would assume NO LESS than half considering Argus can be stingey even WITH TH2....Please post back kthnx :wink:

Um.. I would expect by the way were were chatting in jeuno last night that it was obviously just all for fun... obviously you took it personally (just a tip, when an insult is so outrageous it wouldn't even make sense to be true it's a joke).

Why do you keep thinking the THF that was there was hired? He never asked me for money, he was only there because the night before when I finally had figured out Argus' spawn window I invited him to come camp Leech King so we could control the spawn. I spent 4-5 days and almost 60 hours of camping to get that claim and he was there for a little under a hour.

He was simply there for a free 800k if Leech King popped thanks to me being generous enough to let him know the spawn time so he wouldn't waste days like I did.

He is a friend of mine and he knew since I started camping that I was out to make 10mil and if it were to sell for more then that then I offered him the excess.

A couple days later I shared with him the spawn time again, he came down and claimed LK and got the drop, guess what he gets all the money from that, but somehow your trying to claim Im a greedy person and maybe your just a bit mad that I didn't take up your counter bet to make your money back?

Am I flaunting that I have a PCC? Am I worried that its not selling? Not really actually I just want to get it off my hands at the going rate... Im not at all in a pinch for money and have all the time in the world.. and whats the best way to do that now? Well posting in the AUCTION HOUSE forums and /shouting in Jeuno now and again seems like a good way since it costs me 200k per listing.

You gave me 500k thats awesome, well guess what I gave your 500k to a friend that just joined our server 2 days ago from Midgardsormr (or however its spelled).

Im not mad you didnt take my counter bet, I knew you wouldn't and Rinas knew you wouldn't. You made a claim that stun can be just as good as provoke, when called on it to prove it, you back out of the thread completely and entirely, it was not a suprise....
