I got a tell the other day when I was exping at the bottom of the Garliage citadel and a guy asks for a warp 2. Level 34 Samarai. He expected me to escape and come out to warp his ass!! I told him, I'm levelling in the basement. He's like, oh, I"m at the entrance... Ok.. So what? Like I'm going to leave my party, and come warp your ass because you can't walk across ONE zone. He ended up saying "I'll probably end up dying if I come ot the basement" Fine by me. Saves me 150mp.

I think from now on, I think my rejection line will go something like this. "I'm exping right now, if you want to interrupt that, you can pay everyone else in the party 500 gil" I want to see how well that goes over. At least my party is compensated for their lazy request.

When you are on the brink of castiing Warp III(Blood Taxi, EXP express, Ghetto Warp, etc...).

I was trapped in Onzozo not to long ago, and decided to go wandering around and see how far I could go before I died. I still had like 8 hours on my Warp Cudgel, and a couple Shihei. Lots of neat stuff in there.

For me the conditions would have to be one of the followings.

-End of a chain
-It's a worthless crappy party anyway

You said that you were chaining fast as hell, and that you had no downtime. Still, one or two minutes to Warp II somone and recover your MP, shouldn't make a difference in the end. I always allow Blms in my party to Warp II someone because it never really Increases our downtime.

Now, having translated that into legible test, I can go ahead and refute it. (It's hard to refute somone's statement unless the audience knows what is being said.)

Here's the problem though. When I was Partying in Boyahda Tree, we had no down time. There was no possibility of resting what-so-ever. Me and the Bard were Lining up 2-3 mobs at a time to be slaughtered, and with a Nin tank and dual Mage's Ballads, there was no time, nor need for rest. Chain 5 and going for 6. Maybe the groups you are in has 'resting periods' but some don't.

There is also something that happens when you are really busting your ass, it's called rhythm. Disturbing the rhythm is bad.

There are other options too. 1) Be responsible, bring a Warp Device, Scroll or Cudgel. 2) Have your Whm Teleport you somewhere closer to Jeuno. 3) Die.

There is no reason that people should even ask, or in most cases depend on a nearby Black Mage to Warp you. It's your Responsability. Go exp as if you never heard of the spells: Sneak, Invisable, Warp II, Escape, or any of the Teleports. Because you might not have them. People Disconnect, some parties don't have Whm, or Blm. Don't ever assume. And Most of all: Do not disturb other people while they are concentrating.

So i exp in Boyahda to make up the exp lost yesterday from 3 deaths in davoi for g3. Had plans to hit Oztroja after to get my last crest and finish genk3. Get to the trap door up top. Wait for the high priest to move away from the ???. Drop invis. Click the???. Re-invis. Move somewhere safe. Open inventory, wtf where my scroll. Spent like 2 minutes searching for it. Next 10 looking for a way out. Bah locked doors. Went out with style. Shoot the high priest, flee up to the Templar, steal, fail, mug the Templar for 65 gil, die.

I'd like to have that 4k exp back, but it was a fun way to die, only to be beaten by a Shiva bloodport.
