I looked as well as I could and didn’t find this information. If it’s already well known and redundant I apologize.

Previously the information I had heard was that you need to do one of each assault missions to get to PFC. It was something I had read on multiple posts stating this as fact. The second tier assaults were said to be a different story.

Last night my good friend Gatttsu (same one that logged in on Cerebrus and died) said he had just received PFC and still had not done the prisoner escort assault. I took his “Q” and also talked to the president as I had not done the Treasure Chest one. Definitely I did get the plot line and received Private First Class.

We had done a lot of assaults together… mainly the Brittle Rock one. I’m not quite sure at what point we had done enough assaults to get to our next ranks but definitely you do not need to do all 5 assaults to progress further with the TOAU missions.

Once again if this information is redundant I am sorry. I heard as fact that you need to do all 5 for PFC and I didn’t think to question that… I’m bet I’m not the only one.

Yeah, from what I've heard you need 25 "points" to proceed to the next rank. You get 5 points for completing an assault mission for the first time, and 1 point for each completion after that. So, if you do all 5 assaults, you will get 25 points and can rank up. But, You could also only do assaults at 4 of the staging areas and then just do repeats 5 times and still flag the rank-up quest. I never did the Lebros Cavern PFC assault, but I've still flagged the SP quest.

I can confirm the initial post.

I have only done Excavation, but LOADS of times and managed to get promotion. Nice info K.

The WHM in my static doesn't even have Dvucca yet and she got PFC. What Baj said seems to be pretty accurate. We've done the 4 other zones once, and the rest multiple times, and everyone has PFC now. Thank god, cuz escorting that retarded NPC in Periqia was the most annoying thing I've had to do. I'd be quite happy not having to do the Food mission in lebros too ._.

Seagull Grounded has to be the easiest mission next to Leujaoam Cleansing.

When we did it, he loved to run away for absolutely no reason, then we had to chase him down. We were at the 2nd intersection and I was in front of him the whole time as he ran back to the damn entrance. The mobs are very easy but holy crap I hated trying to "control" him. If it was more of an actual escort it'd be even easier, but I guess it's just us :(.

lol. thats the Lv.70+ one right? im only a 64, haven't experienced that one yet.

Ugh, not to rant on you, it's a general thing.

THE RECOMMENDATION IS NOT A MINIMUM.

You get the most AP if you do a mission setting it at the "recommended" cap. My static does it at 60 and 70, as most of the members are at least 65. however, the recommendation is NOT a minimum. The monsters levels inside the zone are dependant on the cap set. If something is Tough to you in a 50 cap, it'll still be Tough if you did at uncapped. Of course its level will also be raised respectively.

Just please people, don't get the idea the recommendation is a minimum. You can do all the assaults at level 50 if you wanted, you just won't get the maximum AP each time.

Also, the number of people doing the assault influences mob hp.

Everythings still tough with 3 people as it would be with 6, but with 6 people, thier HP is increased to prevent steamrolling.
