So, as my hutn for the perfect fishing hat has continued, I've stumbled onto this:

The perfect Fishing hat. One problem, it's dropped by a 3 times per vana d'iel year, morph popping NM.

He's level 50, I'm a level 53 dance with lotsa juiced up gear. So the question is... do you guys think I'm strong enough to take this bad boy on? Or will he wipe the floor with me? I can probably pop my level 40 npc and 2 hour and everything...

The undead that populate the area at night will aggro you well into your late 60's. At least lvl 67 is recommended.
 
At lvl 53 I can almost guarantee he will destroy you.

Well... like Omni said they do link, and you can't keel the link until Noble Mold pops. I would prolly level up some to be on the safe side, would suck to devote the time to this rare NM and then wipe >.>. I camped him once for a few days and he finally popped, no drop tho ; ;. No doubt a cool hat and NM tho. GL!:bb:
 
Good luck even camping it, it's a solo thing only. If someone asked me to help camping them, chances are ... I won't. However if it should pop then yeh gather people down there...

Nevermind your level, lets test your patience with this NM plus the not so 100% drop rate. Solo the stuff around it and get to level 60+ while camping, if anything.
 
He'll destroy you at 53... But, not only will he destroy you... He'll deny you the ability to HP and will cart your body off next to Aquarius and the 2 NMs will start having their wicked ways with you... I mean really wicked way... >.>
 
As mentioned it'd probrably take you down, nms should be considered a few levels above the estimated level range as they spawn as.

as a nm of say 10 isn't the same as fighting a nq mob of 10
 
Nevermind what level it spawns, get it to pop first.

EDIT: Or wait until next year's lottery.

Considering you can reset the pop time by killing the PH, you could give yourself your own ToD via killing the PH and coming back 18 hours later...
 
oh man.

I remember finding that nm once, i claimed it and cfh'd and some random person ran over and slapped me, can't remember the name for the life of me.
 
Or just killing the placeholders as they pass by lol

lol ya that's the problem with this NM, unless ur camping him non stop or keep constant eye on the PH you never know when it will pop cuz of random peeps poppin off the PH >.<
