Yes i am planning on getting off my buttt and moving to a new country

I am asking of your opinion on this

:?: what Lvl do u havta be to get to another country
:?: What Lvl do u havta be to use a chocobo pass
:?: Where should i go Bastok or sandy
:?: how much does it cost to change your country of alliegence
 
1. you can be any lvl to change to another country
2. you can get your chocobo pass at 20 I think ..... (It's been so long ago)
3. I like Sandy over Bastok
4. That I don't know, I'm still from Windy :D
 
hmm, well good thing you decidin to do this early. ^^ I'm rank 6 now, and though I REALLY kinda need to change to windy, i'm just too lazy to do all those missions over again. ><
as for your questions:

1. you can make it to any of the other citys in lv. 1 if you wanted to. (no its not impossible, it just takes patience)
2.In order to get your chicken license, you need to be lv. 20 and complete a special quest in Jueno.
3. Bastok or Sandy: This is kind of a personal prefrence. The most logical thing to do would be to browse the later level/rank CP items for each town, and depending on the Advanced job you plan on taking up to 75 1st, go for the one that has the most/best cp items for that class.
4. I *Believe* the cost for changing your city allegiance changes depending on your Current Rank in the city yourcoming from, *but* i've never tried to do it so I may be mistaken. perhaps someone else on the boards can answer this one a bit better. ^^;

The amount it costs to buy a citizenship IS dependant on the city's current rank. So make sure when you switch to whatever city you end up choosing - that you wait until it's not in the #1 spot =)
 
To answer your questions as best as I can

1) You can be any level to change nationality from what I know, you just need to speak to the representative in the country you want to join and ask for it.

2) To get the chocobo license, you must reach level 20 with any job and then head to Jeuno. In Upper Jeuno there will be a chocobo stables. Talk to Brutus there, and he will instruct you to care for a chocobo. You need 4 pieces of Gausebit Grass for this quest. Your best bet is to get them in Bastok, they are usually cheapest there.

3) As for joining Bastok or San d'Oria, thats a matter of personal preference, look at what each nation has to offer and decide based on what type of character you want to play as.

4) The price for the country depends on the nations current rank in conquest that week. I believe it is:

1st place 40,000gil
2nd place 10,000gil
3rd place 4,000gil

I may be wrong, so if anyone can correct me, that would be helpful.

One more note, conquest points are allegiance based, so if you switch to a new country that you never been to before, you will lose all conquest points, but if you decide later on to switch back to the original country, you go back to the original value.

Example: Earn 5,000 CP for Bastok
Switch to Windurst nationality
Lose all CP, make 8,000 CP for Windurst
Switch back to Bastok
Current CP 5,000 (Since I'm back to Bastok, going to Windurst again and I would have 8,000 to spend there.)
