Additions to the Fellowship System

The version update in early October will bring the following changes to the Fellowship system:

-Several Fellowship quests will be added, including one that raises the NPC's level restriction.
-There will be an increase in the variety of equipment worn by the NPC.
-Extra conversational options will be available at the Rendezvous Point.
-There will be more fighting styles to choose from.
-More information will be displayed on screen, such as the NPC's hit points.

These changes and more will be included in the upcoming version update. Details may be found on the FINAL FANTASY XI main page as soon as they are released.

I hope its better than the Genkais we had to do ourselves >_< Though I'm guessing its all gonna be soloable(with your NPCs of course) as thats what this NPC thing is focusing on. And I've been ignoring my NPC at 45 for a while...I better get 50 before the thing starts.

wow, we will be able to tell whats going on finally. I hate constantly having to check her to see how low she is and such..... and more equip sounds good!

Also the picture on the site shows the NPC in oldton/newton. Will we be able to call them in dungeons now?

I wonder if the genkai quest is all gonna be in the same zone. It has to be, since they can't zone with you w/o getting lost and warping away. It'd be cool if SE eventually made the NPC's to be able to zone places with you.

I wonder what the next prime xp location to be ruined by 75s "PLing" their npcs will be? I hope it's one that affects everyone this time and not just beastmasters. :evil:

My guess is you pop NMs and your NPC pops with you to fight >.>

Do ya guys think lvl 75 is the NPC's last lvl? Since they started at lvl 30 ;>.>

It looks like NPCs will be allowed in certain dungeuns, on the main FF website that NPC was definetly in either oldton or newton Movolopolos.
